Because it is not only teachers, but everyone need to be open minded and understanding of others. Sometimes my students need to step outside the box in order to make positive changes. @WrightMath314 @MrsGallardo1 I will do this by taking a step back and seeing situations for what it clearly is. Use strategies and data to back up your choices or views. As teachers we MUST be open minded to other peoples situations. And do whatever is necessary to help them. #EDEL5200

Empathy is to be able to understand where another person is coming from. Especially with my current job, it is best to understand and be open minded because everyone is on a different journey.

@miss_mendozaaa @WrightMath314 @MrsGallardo1 I defiantly agree with what you are stating! Because sometimes the students know what they need. They know how they learn best. So, it is best for us as teachers to listen and understand where the students are coming from to best meet their needs.

How we advocate for our students is by building a rapport with them and doing the proper assessments to truly understand the whole student. Then we can make the proper decisions to best meet their needs. Its also always best to listen to them.

@tom_karnes A2) My favorite project was going to a school to teach and listen to kids play instruments. Even though it did not have a technological aspect to it. But I have had many projects where Excel, PowerPoint, and word are highly useful. #CSUBTED #csubedte4200
