@Cookies_Castle @NicholasFerroni Literally every teacher I know (Kentucky) has a stash of quick food supplies to give to kids who are hungry. We teach and help the whole child and that includes helping the whole child be able to learn without barriers we can fix, otherwise we would not have chosen this career.

Metaphorically speaking, we feed them hoping that we don’t have to feed their children. Our goal is that their future children aren’t coming to school hungry, dirty, or lacking basic human needs.
