(Bloomberg) -- A federal judge struck down a $100,000 fee President Donald Trump ordered for H-1B visa applications, providing a reprieve for US technology companies that rely on hiring skilled foreign workers.
Yesterday, following a months-long investigation by the Homeland Security Task Force, authorities discovered a sophisticated cross-border tunnel connecting Tijuana, Mexico, to a building posing as a retail store in Otay Mesa, California, near the Otay Mesa Port of Entry.
As a result of the investigation, @SDCAnews charged four individuals (two were illegal aliens) with allegedly conspiring to distribute more than one ton of cocaine, with an estimated value of $45 million.
This case reflects our unwavering commitment to dismantling cartels, stop the flow of dangerous drugs into our communities, and keep American families safe.
BREAKING: The U.S. and Iran have agreed to the framework of a 60-day ceasefire deal, now awaiting final sign-off from President Trump and Iran’s Supreme Leader.
Negotiators are still hashing out some of the biggest sticking points, including what happens to Iran’s highly enriched uranium stockpile and restrictions tied to nuclear weapons development.
Iran has previously pulled back from the table over these exact U.S. red lines, raising questions about how durable any agreement could actually be.
@TreyYingst breaks down what would be considered a ceasefire violation as the deal moves closer to final approval.
A life-saving kidney transplant, a grieving family, and a legacy that continues to change lives.
A few weeks ago, I spoke with my DC Senior Producer, Jessica, about the life-saving kidney transplant her husband received from Navy serviceman Ronald Shousky, whose organ donations ultimately saved six lives — a gift that continues to impact families years later.
To honor Ronnie’s legacy of faith, service, and character, the Ronald A. Shousky Memorial Scholarship was created by his family to support students pursuing a Catholic high school education. Any contribution — even just a few dollars — can make a meaningful difference in a student’s life while helping continue Ronnie’s legacy.

BREAKING: Vice President JD Vance shuts down talk of a "joint ticket" with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, insisting he is focused solely on the job the American people already elected him to do:
"There are a few topics that I want to talk about less than what office I'm going to run for years down the road when I'm having a good time and trying to do good work in the job that the American people already elected me to do.”
“I've answered this question, probably in any number of ways, I love Marco. I think he's a great secretary of state. He's become a very, very dear friend. But I think both of us are very much focused on accomplishing the American people's business right now.”
. @POTUS said the incident will not deter him, adding, “It’s not going to stop me from winning the war in Iran. I don’t know if it had anything to do with it. I really don’t think so based on what we know, but we’re going to continue to do a great job. That’s all I can do.”
I came to the WH with President Trump, who is preparing for a press conference to brief reporters. We hope to have more answers soon. A few of us are waiting in the briefing room. Thank God he, the First Lady, and everyone who was attending the WHCD was safe.
Scoop: @SecWar Pete Hegseth has asked Army Chief of Staff Gen. Randy George to step down and take immediate retirement, sources familiar with the decision told @CBSNews.
Over the next month I will be working tirelessly to transition the office of Attorney General to the amazing Todd Blanche before moving to an important private sector role I am thrilled about, and where I will continue fighting for President Trump and this Administration.
Leading President Trump’s historic and highly successful efforts to make America safer and more secure has been the honor of a lifetime, and easily the most consequential first year of the Department of Justice in American history.
Since February 2025, we have secured the lowest murder rate in 125 years, secured first-ever terrorism convictions against members of Antifa, shattered domestic and transnational gangs across the country, taken custody of more than 90 key cartel figures, and won 24 favorable rulings at the Supreme Court.
I remain eternally grateful for the trust that President Trump placed in me to Make America Safe Again.
Pam Bondi was fired largely because Donald Trump grew dissatisfied with her inability to deliver on prosecuting his perceived enemies, sources tell me. Her allies find that reasoning frustrating, because they say she was hampered by the legal system, not by any unwillingness on her part. Critics say that whole project was corrupt, and that she “took a sledgehammer to the Justice Department and its workforce,” in the words of one former official.
BREAKING: Colleague @pdoocy reports AG Pam Bondi will be leaving her position and she will be replaced in the interim by Deputy AG Todd Blanche, per phone call he had with President Trump.
🚨 🚨 FIRED DHS SEC KRISTI NOEM WAS BLOCKING OVERSIGHT OF HER RECORD AND THE SECRET SERVICE'S FAILURES AT BUTLER, THE TRUMP-APPOINTED DHS INSPECTOR GENERAL CHARGED.
Just days before Trump fired DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, the Trump-appointed DHS Inspector General Joseph Cuffari alleged in a letter to Congress that DHS leadership and Noem specifically have "SYSTEMATICALLY OBSTRUCTED" his investigative work.
"[The office of inspector general] is authorized to conduct criminal investigations into allegations that have a nexus to DHS, as well as audits and inspections of DHS programs and operations," the letter asserted, citing supportive federal statutes.
⚠️⚠️Cuffari also accused Noem and her team of thwarting his investigations into the @SecretService's failures related to the Butler assassination attempt by blocking his and his team's access to a compartmentalized intelligence program even though a separate Trump administration intelligence agency had approved Cuffari's access.
Cuffari also noted that he and his team were granted access to a similar intelligence program at a different agency to work on a national security criminal investigation with another law enforcement agency.
Preventing his access significantly stymied his investigation into the USSS's failures, Cuffari wrote to the chairmen and ranking members of the Senate and House Homeland Security Committees.
"This is particularly troubling given the other reported attempts on President Trump's life coupled with the present worldwide conflict," Cuffari wrote, asking the lawmakers for their help resolving these problems.
I've included DHS Inspector General Cuffari's letter to Congress below. (Full letter takes two links.)
