I like summer more than most things, but other things include the Oilers, MLB, politics, country music and youth advocacy. Work in aviation and love politics.
@TaraSlone He celebrated October 7th and had to delete those tweets, he constantly singles out the only Jewish country and then singles out the leagues only Jewish superstar for something true for the vast majority of them. He’s a hater and the quotes are not hyperbole, but he’s still bad.
@CheriDiNovo You actually think 3 cents a litre or any extra price on gas is going to change global weather patterns?! Hahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahhahaha.
A judge has ruled that the murderer who slaughtered an innocent Muslim family in London is a terrorist.
Hatred, Islamophobia, and terrorism have no place in Canada.
This terrorist should serve a sentence for every life he took, and never leave the four walls of a jail cell for the rest of his life.
@david_parker Very gross tweet on your end. But fair if people tweet their thoughts about your wife too?
Try being a family man my guy. Be a decent person or get off the internet.
@GlobalEdmonton Why does it seem like the media’s only goal is to tell people that these measures are bad? Regular people do not want to see individuals under 18 get irreversible surgery. We don’t want to see 14 year olds getting hormone blockers. Why do so many in the media attack this?
@jasmine_mian At no point in 12 tweets did you address why the government should allow people under 17 to get irreversible surgery. Nor why we should be giving minors 15 and under hormone therapy.
This was my husband Dave Batters.
He died by suicide before the 1st #BellLetsTalk Day.
#MentalIllness can strike anyone: even people who are easygoing & always smiling, like Dave.
4000 Canadians die by suicide each year.
Let's create real change!
Let's save someone's life today.
We are horrified and shocked by the attack on Edmonton City Hall yesterday. Any attack on public institutions is an attack on all of us and must not be tolerated.
While more investigation needs to occur, based on an alleged video manifesto, the attacker appears to have provided a plethora of reasons for his attack but does seem to have been primarily motivated by an alt-right agenda involving concerns around municipal taxes, inflation, the cost of living, and hatred for multiculturalism - what experts are calling “salad bar extremism” motivated by mental health concerns.
We encourage Canadians to allow the investigation to continue before coming to any conclusions.
We want to thank our first responders and security for their courage in dealing with this scary situation. We are also thinking about the folks at Edmonton City Hall, including school children, as well as many Arab and Muslim staff, who went through a harrowing couple of hours yesterday and are thankful that no one was hurt.
Our country continues to face a mental health crisis – we encourage anyone who is going through mental health challenges to get help. Go to CAMH online to get the resources needed.
@JyotiGondek Wait. This is your issue?? That it says “supporting Israel” at one part of it? You find that a big enough of an issue to boycott a religious ceremony for the cities most often attacked religious minority?
