Happy Winnie the Pooh Day! Author A.A. Milne brought the adorable, honey-loving bear to life in his classic stories, featuring his son Christopher Robin. #WinniethePoohDay commemorates Milne’s January 18, 1882 birthday.
Education workers are showing our kids how to stand up to bullies. You can too, by going out and picketing the Ford Conservatives TOMORROW (Friday, Nov 4). Input your postal code to find the nearest picket line at https://t.co/wpaMPenpH5 #OnPoli#OntEd#DontBeABully
The @fordnation prioritized PRIVATE schools with their botched RAT distribution and left most of our public schools, shelters, frontline essential workers and other vulnerable folks to fend on their own.
This is heartless leadership. We will not forget. #onpoli#CovidIsntOver
Happening TONIGHT at 7PM.
I'm celebrating #IWD2022 with these iconic performers & storytellers to talk the NEED for a culturally responsive curriculum in Ontario hairstyling for Black & textured hair. It's 2022 & LONG time for this in our prov!

This #IWD2022 is as much about celebrating women as it is recognizing the work is far from over.
Women, esp racialized women, continue feeling the brunt of sexist & racist violence in the workplace. This gov must put words into action to tackle this SYSTEMIC reality. #onpoli
Hey! Look! Did you see that massively huge convoy of health workers who has gone in to work each & every day to provide healthcare for vulnerable people amidst staffing shortages, snowstorms & a raging pandemic? Yeah...shoutout to that convoy. That convoy is the best. 🙌🏾
it is -30 in toronto tonight. and this was picture of the TTC last night taken by @fatnmostly. do not look away — this is canada’s failure on housing as a human right. we need all levels of government to end homelessness now.
#BREAKING: The Ontario government says parents will only be notified of potential COVID-19 outbreak when approximately 30 per cent of students in their school are absent.

Ladies and Gentlemen: @Sflecce and his new “ENHANCED” school screening tool.
If your child has a headache, difficulty breathing, and a loss of smell…
And has the same tomorrow but “is improving” they can immediately return to school.
And infect all their classmates.
AWESOME.
This, from Justice Ahmed when granting an application for judicial review:
"The moral debt owed to immigrants who worked on the frontlines to help protect vulnerable people in Canada during the first waves of the COVID-19 pandemic cannot be understated."1/5

If nothing is done over the next 14 days to make Ontario schools safer, they will simply remain closed.
This is a kick in the head to every student, parent, educator and person in this Province.
@Sflecce needs to prioritize PCR testing for schools and better PPE for students.
This is the MINIMUM needed for Ontario schools to re-open:
- PCR testing of students/education workers with school cases tracked again
- “RAT to Stay”
- 8+ day isolation
- unfitted KN95’s for all students and education workers
- closed cafeterias
COULD have been done today
Let’s assume all 60,000 daily Ontario COVID-19 tests are in people with symptoms.
With no testing, that’s 300,000 people (2% of Ontario’s population) in 5-day isolation at any given time - PLUS all members of their household.
Daily school staff/student absenteeism will hit 10%+
Infectious disease specialist Dr. Isaac Bogoch says having more information is always better than having less when it comes to school data. https://t.co/kKeqbu1fvR
