@DCHovell questioning if the ECtHR’s interpretation of legality is the best standard of legality for ICL. Great question. My work argues that the ECtHR’s version of legality is divorced from ICL’s sources and is in tension with ICCPR Art 15.

@DCHovell questioning if ICL requires a sui generis legality in part because of the underdevelopment of ICL; my work argues the opposite. Underdevelopment suggests insufficient justification to punish, and the need for strict legalities protections.
