I never thought I'd get the chance to talk about Our Home in Myanmar on breakfast TV! Thanks a lot to @TheAMShowNZ for the opportunity to discuss my book & the terrible situation in Myanmar today. https://t.co/JYaWFxovh4 #NewRelease#memoirs#WhatsHappeningInMyanmar
Few surprises in regional responses to AUKUS announcement so far:
Japan- supportive
Malaysia- still opposed
Indonesia- cautious, less hostile than 2021
Fiji- supportive (or Rabuka is anyway)
Taiwan- pleased
Philippines- apparently on board
France- *shrugs expressively*
I had a dream last night that my passport & money was stolen, & the thief photocopied my diary and gave a copy to all my classmates. I was throwing a party when I realised & became so distracted that my guests left. The thief also graffitied my room. Traumatised!

Do you think it would be funny if we turned on caps lock just for a day? I just typed a sentence of an email in all caps without realising and it made me laugh. Tempted to hit send.
@DesleyDeacon That is so funny! It would have been as though you were shouting every word at your teacher. I love using typewriters though. The click-clack is so soothing.
This arrived in the post today from @JessicaMudditt ! “Our Home In Myanmar” about Jessica’s years in Myanmar from 2012 with a candid behind-the-scenes look at journalism in a developing country.

REVIEW: My summer with a robot mower called Barry. Thanks to @HusqvarnaUSA for the chance to try this fantastic invention. It was my first co-production with 4 year old Olivia - I think she held the camera pretty steady! #robots#lawncare
