hi, I'm alive! I rode 5000 miles solo from Brooklyn to Portland, Oregon, and took some mediocre photos of the most beautiful places in the country. IT WAS AMAZING
@ivadixit It's sort of the worst things about both a bike and a car -- you get rained on AND stuck in traffic. Riding north of the city was lovely but inside not so much.
also this thing popped up out of the ground by my house! city of roses yes, but also city of invasive blackberries, so I really wasn't sure which ouchy thing I was gonna get
I hate remote work with a vengeance BUT I just set up two monitors and my mechanical keyboard and my cat is snoring and I have to grudgingly admit that this is OK

@davegershgorn wow, congrats from Portland! I shipped boxes via Amtrak freight. The price was right and it arrived in days. Load in at Penn Station is a bit quirky, I have tips if you go this way.
