@Unionbuster@Keir_Starmer You misunderstand me. Teachers are often parents and also are required to start work at 8am. Which they can’t do if no breakfast clubs. I’m not saying qualified teachers run breakfast clubs. That is not how it works.
@Unionbuster@Keir_Starmer My children all ate before breakfast club (I paid for breakfast clubs) but I know not everyone is as fortunate as me.
Breakfast clubs are a good opportunity for schools to earn more money and get teachers in employment too.
@Unionbuster@Keir_Starmer If you think more people working and paying tax is a good idea, and most people do, breakfast clubs would help as so many employers are not flexible on start times eg hospitals and schools.
@Jenny_1884 Seriously. It is not about food, it is about allowing people to get to work by 8 or 9 am as so many employers require eg hospitals and schools! I’m not sure why so many people don’t get this.
@CharlotteCGill It’s not about feeding children most children eat prior to breakfast clubs, it’s allowing parents to work especially if your work starts at 8 or 9 - like hospital shifts.
