no more vague writing advice pls. start dropping the location of the forest where you made that deal with a bog witch for your edits, and tell us the full-moon ritual for finishing a draft, and did you fill your plot hole with moss or fungi. go on, tell us.
I’ve just realised I could never be a dragon rider because I suffer from terrible motion sickness, and somehow this fact is much more upsetting to me than not being able to be a dragon rider cus dragons don’t exist
"these characters live in my head rent free" well mine need to start paying rent 🤨 i'm charging for this space. they can get their one braincell together and form a cohesive plot and and start earning thank you
"i don't have time for another book idea it can wait," i mutter, literally already writing up a pitch and letting the idea play out like a movie in the back of my mind every waking second
two types of inspiration
1) getting hit with an idea and feeling that energised spark of creative need to write
2) an idea follows you around like a whiny gnat going on and on and on about how you should wriiiiite meeeeee until you get fed up and do so
writers will be over there complaining how hard writing is and that they don't wanna do it...and then you ask them how many wips they have, and they comfortably list like 9382394 books they plan to write.
