Teaching in London during the lockdown and a “heatwave” (28 degrees) calls for lunchtime ice creams. Love working with this bunch of amazing educators #teachinglondon
So proud to be a part of a profession that embraces challenges and evolves accordingly. TY to all the amazing teachers out there working as hard as ever. Missing all the smiling faces and the buzz that makes a school. Can’t wait to return to work with a new perspective #hearthunt
Great day @ClaphamManor celebrating #WorldBookDay the Year 2 teachers had such fun reading the letters to the Year 2 cohort. There were many laughs had all day as the yellow and orange crayons disputed the true colour of the sun @OliverJeffers
It’s been so lovely exploring Central Asia and seeing so many smiling, happy kids playing outside. They don’t have gaming addictions here and there are no toddlers glued to screens, just kids laughter filling the streets #teacherswhotravel
What a fun and exciting day at EPS. We were busy filming the Education Week film. Stay tuned to see what we’ve been doing around student voice, ministries and Pivot data @PsElderslie @Clarke4535
Our student ministry leaders shared what they have done so far with our whole school. It was amazing to see what we’ve accomplished in 6 months. I cannot wait to see what they have achieved by the end of the year #studentvoice @PsElderslie
What a successful night! Kids from Years 1, 3, 5 & 6 ran the session! They showed parents how to use the tech, got them involved & explained how they are using it in the classroom as part of bigger projects! I looked on in awe! @Clarke4535 #eps2020vision#epstecky @PsElderslie
Today we had a tech filled day. We made LEGO WeDo helicopters and then used them to create a stop motion movie. Here is one groups work. @PsElderslie #legowedo@tickytecky
Here’s my little Clubfoot warrior with his amazing cast along with the winner who had his favourite design out of the whole school. The fundraising ministry is changing lives within our school and the world @miraclefeet @PsElderslie #studentleadership#studentvoice
Our little Clubfoot warrior and the fundraising ministry had a big job to decide the winner for our design Zach’s cast competition. We had some great designs. Zach’s Mum is going to be busy painting it this weekend for our assembly on Tuesday morning @PsElderslie
Love working with a team who values a laugh and a good time. We were the best dressed golfers in Aus on today’s cold and windy day. @NicoleFKelleher@steveevo41
Today we had a local teacher who is an author as our pbl expert. She showed the students how to use a manuscript and how to storyboard her story into a 32 page picture book. The conversations were so meaningful. Seeing the need for experts in PBL-I learned so much @PsElderslie
6Ts have been working with our school chaplain around well-being. we write our fears and negative thoughts on a balloon. We then popped those thoughts. The students all agreed it was very therapeutic and they felt good afterwards. We all had a giggle at our faces in slowmo
A bit of competitive sport in the staff room hallway for EPS teacher wellbeing week. I love working at a school where we all have fun and a good laugh. Too bad I’m not good at putting...
World Clubfoot Day @PsElderslie another success for the Fundraising Ministry. With over $650 raised for @miraclefeet we are so excited to be helping kids in low income countries. The whole school loved their feet shaped lollipops and there were some crazy socks.
My fundraising ministry has made this little boy proud of having Clubfoot and has built his confidence around it. He is so excited to be up in front of the school on Monday sharing his stories and experiences. On Monday our school will be filled with crazy socks. @PsElderslie
The students and clients loved our second visit. We learned that some of these people had been directly involved in natural disasters. It’s been great gathering testimonies from our elderly community members to better understand natural disasters and their impact @PsElderslie
