You might not be getting what you want because you actually deserve something way better. You think you want it because you don’t believe more is possible. Stop selling yourself short and aim higher.
The people with hundreds of thousands of followers all had a day 1. They all had a day 50 when they were overwhelmed, a day 150 when they wanted to give up, a day 500 when they didn’t feel good enough. Through it all they realigned to their dream and kept going.
FB Memories from today:
10 yrs ago I posted my new Jetta (first time I could afford a car)
7 yrs ago I was excited to marry my best friend in Italy
4 yrs ago I had a two page feature in the biggest hair magazine
2 yrs ago I relaunched + sold out my own group coaching program
When I became Global Education Director they said I didn’t deserve it.
In private, they asked me for advice.
If I didn’t believe in myself, I’d still be struggling charging $30 an hour.
No matter what, people will try to tear you down. Believing in yourself matters most.
They said I wasn’t a good enough barber to build a full book of clients.
They said no man would pay over $50 for a haircut in Minneapolis.
When I doubled my prices they said I was crazy.
When I got my first magazine feature they said I was lucky.
Does watching movie car chases with lots of explosions and gunfire make anyone else super sad?? Like, what about all the innocent victims whose cars get flipped or shot at? How are they doing? Are they alive? Can we get a follow up so I know they’re ok?
Saying you don't have time to improve your mindset is like saying you don't have time to stop for gas because you're too busy driving. Eventually it will catch up with you.
