High gas prices hurt people without jobs more because food stamps cannot buy gas, and the small gas-help programs that exist are usually short-term and only for job searches or emergencies. With gas around $4.40 a gallon, that cash squeeze can push more jobless people to vote for the extra aid Democrats want to redistribute to them, while Republican workers are less likely to switch parties just because of pump prices.
@theseed59788459 Voters, use your brain. Democratic controlled states (Blue states) have the highest cost of living. Believing that they will bring down the cost of living is irrational & stupid. They will do just the opposite.
😂😂😂😂😂 The party that made everything more expensive wants you to vote for them because they'll "lower your costs." 😂😂😂 What a joke.
Blue states have the HIGHEST cost of living in the US.
Week 1 of a Democratic administration...
-Total amnesty to all illegals
-voting rights to new 'citizens'
-Return to open borders
-DC and Puerto Rico will be new states
-4 new Dem senators
-Expanded SCOTUS
-mail in voting for all
-Green New Deal back
-any prominent Republican will be jailed or sued into oblivion
Of course it wasn’t a conservative who leaked the *Dobbs* opinion.
It was someone who wanted threats (and possibly acts) of violence directed at Justice Alito, the opinion’s author.
I find it incredibly troubling that this has never been adequately investigated.
JACK SMITH confirms to @ChuckGrassley that his team collected financial data
Grassley said 4782 donor checks (many 5 to 10 dollars) from Americans was collected
“no legitimate basis for what you did”
Grassley said DOJ now has bank account, bank routing number, signature, address, phone number of Americans as a result of Special Counsel Jack Smith's investigation
INTERESTING--NEWSY LINE OF QUESTIONING GOP @SenJohnKennedy
KENNEDY: Did you tell AG Garland, you were going to prosecute former president Trump?
Smith: "Yes, twice."
Kennedy: "You don’t think if he (Garland) checked with President Biden ?"
Smith: “I have no idea”
WHISTLEBLOWERS: “Thousands of Americans across all 50 states, as well as Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico, who donated as little as $1 to President Trump and Trump-aligned Republican entities had their checks secretly subpoenaed by Special Counsel Jack Smith and his team” @ChuckGrassley
JACK SMITH: UNEXPECTED HEADLINE
- In addition to issuing subpoenas for 87 Trump White House phones which would capture communications with 44 Members of Congress
@ChuckGrassley told the hearing Smith obtained communications from at least 18 media outlets:
- 60 Minutes, Associated Press, Bloomberg, CBS, CNBC, CNN, Fox News, LA Times, Mark Levin Show, Media Research Center, NBC, NPR, NY Magazine, Reuters, The Federalist, The Washington Post, Washington Times and the Wall Street Journal.
-Collection of media records is no small matter and may get not break through in the coverage
- Smith critics say it is more evidence of 'government overreach'
.@SenMikeLee said Jack Smith's collection of lawmakers' records and preservation orders for the Special Counsel probe into President Trump "implicates the Fourth Amendment in a very direct way."
Fourth Amendment guards against unreasonable searches and seizures by the government
During the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing:
- Senator Lee revealed that Jack Smith's team issued "preservation" requests to Apple
- Can include ALL devices attached to Apple account
- Ordered Apple NOT to disclose the request
- Smith's team should be alerted first
Smith, “I don’t have a recollection of specific requests”
Smith confirmed Federal Judge (Boasberg) who signed off on gag orders/non-disclosures was kept in the dark about the subpoenas' target
.@SenTedCruz to Jack Smith “Is it crime to be a Republican?”
Smith refused direct yes or no answers to Cruz's line of questioning about subpoenas for GOP records
Cruz: Smith subpoenaed over 20% Senate Republicans
Cruz: Smith's Special Counsel probe “massive fishing expedition to target over 400 republicans”
Cruz: Did you subpoena RNC. Yes or no or I don’t remember?
Smith: It is very possible.
Cruz: Did you subpoena TurningPoint USA?
Smith: I can’t remember.
Cruz: You don’t know if you obtained donor and fundraising data? You (Smith) can sign all you like.
Cruz note: 197 subpoenas – 34 individuals, 163 business, sought records at least 400 GOP and entities
Case could test Special Counsel powers and protections for lawmakers.
Blackburn seeks a declaration of unconstitutionality, return or destruction of the records, and $1 in nominal damages.

NEW: @MarshaBlackburn Vs. Jack Smith Lawsuit
Allegations
- Defendant Smith violated @MarshaBlackburn's privileges under the Speech or Debate clause of the constitution
- Secret subpoena for her Verizon call records
- Defendant Smith violated Blackburn’s constitutional rights by denying her the opportunity to assert privilege over her phone records
- Defendant Smith's appointment as "Special Counsel" violated the appointments clause
NOTE: At least 20 members of Congress, all GOP, also impacted. Plus, roughly 400 Republican individuals and organizations.
In addition to Speech or Debate clause, Fourth Amendment guards against unreasonable searches and seizures by the government
FALSE NARRATIVE: The conventional narrative is that the collection of toll records or so-called metadata is not intrusive.
This is false.
Toll records include the specific number of the person making the call, the number of the person receiving it as well as date, time and duration.
Former FBI agents have told me this data can be more revealing than the content of the calls themselves.
Toll records map a target’s network of contacts and the strength of those relationships.
TIMING: - Complaint filed one day after Smith's testimony @SenJudiciaryGOP about the collection of lawmakers phone records and texts
