πππ @thegriefcast don't leaveeee me! As gentle as @ladycariad tried to make that sounds my grief brain has gone 'IT'S AN ENDING. IT'S OVER' - Nooo. Thank GOD for the book (which is absolutely beautiful & making me weep & feel so held). Love to the griefsters out there today π
@JonjayNeedham1 Thank you so much for sharing/highlighting this..my sis & I also experienced complex trauma & abuse growing up -she developed anorexia & then took her own life at 22. I am currently trying to face up to the hard work of surviving & healing..so encouraging to hear your story. π
@pjsissons Oh Pat, thank you for remembering and for all your support, interest and encouragement at that time too. I just love having her face and smile still out there and talked about βΊοΈβ Very grateful x
Happy 28th Birthday to my beautiful sister,Hannah-who died by #suicide at 22. Today is the 1st year no one remembered/contacted me..it's been very lonely.I have no other family,so grieve alone &just wanted to tell the world she's not forgotten & deeply loved #grief@thegriefcast
Honestly can't believe the outpouring of love here.I hope this can be a reminder to anyone needing it-however lonely you feel, there's such a lot of goodness in people out there still. When so many are struggling right now,let this be testament to finding kindness anywhere we can.
To everyone liking, commenting and sharing my birthday post for Han - thank you so very much for helping me feel less alone. It fills my heart to know after several years she's being seen and thought of - I'm so proud of her always. Thank you all!!π

@rhi_harris@thegriefcast Yeah, not talked about so much the older sibling responsibility bit.. sometimes you've almost co-parented them at times - I felt that with Han! Here's to Jamie too & yes - we need more grief retreats with @TCFcharityUK !! And meet ups would be nice xx
@rhi_harris@thegriefcast Yeah,I totally understand the protective/responsibility thing -my little sis by 3.5 years.. Han took her life 5 days after my Mum's funeral,I was 26 -lots of guilt & agony - it's a real journey the grief lark isn't it? But comforting we have people to walk it with - love to you x
