JD Vance works for the most corrupt president in American history. So of course he wants you to believe Watergate was nothing.

Vance joked that if Watergate happened today it would be a “12 hour news story.” Let’s remember what Nixon actually did.

Operatives tied to his reelection campaign broke into the Democratic National Committee headquarters to plant listening devices. Then Nixon personally orchestrated the cover up. The “smoking gun” tape caught him ordering the CIA to shut down the FBI’s investigation.

That is obstruction of justice, in his own voice, on tape.

The House Judiciary Committee identified 36 separate instances of obstruction. It approved three articles of impeachment, with Republicans joining Democrats.

Nixon weaponized the IRS and FBI against his political enemies, authorized burglaries of private citizens, and fired the special prosecutor investigating him in what is called the Saturday Night Massacre. When the Supreme Court ordered him to release the tapes, the vote was unanimous. Even his most loyal defenders walked away once they heard his own words.

Vance is telling us a president can break the law, lie about it, and turn federal agencies into weapons, and we should all just go along with it.

There is a reason he wants the bar that low. When you serve an administration this corrupt, the only way to look clean is to convince the public that crimes no longer count.

He’s wrong. They did then, and they do now.

History will not be kind to JD Vance.

🚨 CALIFORNIA NOW SAYS $100,000 A YEAR IS "LOW INCOME"

A single person making $104,200 a year can now qualify as low income in parts of California, including Orange County.

A family of four?
Nearly $150,000 a year.

Not poverty.
Not minimum wage.
Not unemployment.

Six figures.

For decades, Americans were told that earning $100,000 meant you had made it.

Now the government is effectively admitting that in some parts of California, it isn't enough.

The American Dream used to be buying a house.
Now people making six figures are being told they qualify for low-income housing.

How much worse does this have to get before people admit something is seriously wrong?

A note to my friends who still back Trump:

I am not here to dunk on you. I am writing because you have a working brain, and this story insults it.

The Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool got a $14 million paint job. Shortly thereafter the water turned green and the new “American flag blue” coating started peeling off the bottom in sheets. Trump says vandals did it. He claims, without evidence, that someone took a knife and cut a 300-foot slit, a number that grew to 350 feet while he was still talking.

Back on May 4, Trump bragged about that same coating and said, if you had a knife, you could not even cut it, so strong, like powerful rubber. He cannot have it both ways.

And the green water?

A George Mason scientist tested it and found ordinary, non-toxic algae, the kind that blooms in any shallow sunny pool. To fight it, crews dumped hydrogen peroxide into the water.

Hydrogen peroxide is also a paint stripper.

That, not sabotage or vandalism, is the obvious reason the paint came off. They wrecked their own paint job, then blamed phantom vandals for it.

The lone "vandal" they paraded is a 67-year-old Olympian who touched a flap of paint already peeling on its own.

Here is the thing. If they will look you in the eye and lie about something this small, something you can see with your own eyes, ask yourself what else they are lying to you about.

Again, you have a working brain. People like Karoline Leavitt are counting on you to stay loyal instead of exercising independent thought.

Prove them wrong.
