We no longer have a “patient phone”, nor [in my trust] are we the out-of-hours service. 90% of the time it’s the support workers answering calls.

It was my safe place as a young child, and is still the place I go when the world gets too heavy.
Mine and Harry’s lives were strikingly similar. He became my family. ❤️

The NHS is in such dire straits, I’ll be waiting almost a year for a surgery that could save my life. Being severely anorexic and malnourished, I’m scared. I need this PEG tube surgery as my body can’t tolerate the food intake I need to live. I hope i get it in time. #NHSCrisis

@alisonleary1 I crashed my car this morning, flipped, and it rolled into a river. I was stuck inside a smoking, submerging vehicle. I managed to get out. The paramedics checked my BP and done an ECG. They then left me in the middle of nowhere with no signal to phone my family. 👍🏻

After fighting for my health for 8 years with not one professional listening to me, it looks like I’ll be finally getting a PEG tube. I cannot express in words how relieved I am about this, and how grateful I am to my dietician.❤️🥹 #Autism #EhlersDanlosSyndrome #gastroparesis
