these tweets are so confusing because why should I, as a city fan, have any loyalty towards him? Even if we’re putting the racism aside, what has he done to gain my unwavering support? Lol
This signing makes me very uncomfortable.
I don’t need my footballers to have a heart of gold, but streaming and singing a xenophobic, racist, homophobic and transphobic chant crosses the line for me. A public apology that doesn’t even specifically name the issues doesn’t cut it.
£125m is also a poor use of funds.
We’re signing a player with great (not unique) qualities on ball, who introduces off ball issues and needs to be accommodated; I don’t consider the trade off to be worth it.
I hope he does well for City, because I’m a City fan. I’ll celebrate when he scores, because City will have scored. But he’s a player I will never support nor like.
@Westside01001@GeronimoMorgans You are worse than a tool, refusing to acknowledge reality is something, but trying to rewrite whatever happened is damn near concerning.
He was caught being racist post Copa America 2024, This year he threw a tantrum at Chelsea, missed training sessions, to force a transfer.
every misplaced pass, every bcm, every every injury, every suspension. every bad touch, every skill move failed, every big chance missed, every bad game, every error leading to goal, every mistake you make, I will be there
@shilahjosh@UKlionfan@ItsLB_City The bunch who rate him binned their brains down the south, he’s a racist and a spastic.
Got the lungs of a 90 year old smoker, and can’t run or press, moves like a truck. Good luck to us if this is our midfield depth for the season. Had twice the player already in O’Reilly.
@MC_frnk Legit saw us outplay a Caicedo X Enzo pivot with a Bernie x 36 year old Gundogan Pivot in our worst ever season and our supporters still think he’s worth that £120 mil
@Relly_95 UCL or bust*
We have been winning the Prem since forever, could’ve won the league if we were sensible this transfer window too. But since they went for expensive flashy toys, it better win us an UCL.
