@RogersHistory My hangover has spilled into summer with one parent launching a Facebook attack against me…what do you do? You can’t contact them, can’t contact the head over summer. Other parents of children coming up the school joining in and falling for her lies. It’s so unfair.
@RogersHistory It’s personal harassment damning my character and teaching. Luckily other parents have supported me openly on there. Contacted Facebook and union - they can’t do anything. Just puts a stain on the year and spoils the so called ‘summer wind down’
There are teachers out there who will spend the summer managing the hangover from being harassed and harangued by particular parents all year who have decided to target them, telling each other and children that 'Mr/Ms X is crap', creating an uphill classroom struggle for them.
Because those teachers wouldn't budge on their expectations. Or because they made a professional judgement for the good of the students. They were 'strict'. And they have to dread September which they know will be more of the same. How is that right? It's not, it's very wrong!
