My original take was "Outer Worlds Studio makes Fallout skinned Outer Worlds Game" because old Obsidian is gone.
That said with Josh Sawyer I have faith that it'll be better than Fallout 4 / 76 at least. Of course you never know what kind of time crunch they'll be put under.
Following the layoffs, an internal email at Bethesda about the future of the company reached IGN. The focus appears to be on rapidly increasing the pace of the production of its star franchises, mainly Elder Scrolls and Fallout. IGN also speculates that Obsidian and id Software may be pushed towards supporting the release of games in those franchises.
BREAKING: The Los Angeles Clippers are nearing deal sending Kawhi Leonard to the Toronto Raptors for Brandon Ingram, Gradey Dick, 2 first-round picks, 1 pick swap and 2 second-rounders, sources tell ESPN. A return to Canada for the Raptors champion and two-time Finals MVP.
@zhakaron@DezZdemonya The dev team at ZOS always consults with BGS for new lore etc, but I doubt BGS would ever take what ZOS does as bible. They already completely ignored Pocket Guides interpretation of Cyrodiil. So could be bye bye Summerfrance.
I actually feel really sorry for Xbox fans, the way Microsoft keeps stringing them along with these false promises then pulls the rug out from under them over and over again, its a shitty move to the fans, just rip the band aid off and put them out of their misery, they deserve that at least.
Microsoft needs to get rid of hardware and just become a lean but powerful third party publisher and for the love of god, give Fallout to Obsidian, it's fiscally irresponsible letting Todd Howard be the guardian of it.
Not releasing any new Fallout games with the show is completely asinine, Nintendo has managed to do it with Mario, StarFox and will again with the upcoming Zelda movie with Ocarina Of Time Remake, why can't you do it? Fans should not be waiting till the 2030s to see Fallout 5 either.
‘OBSESSION’ may become one of the only films in history to earn $100M+ on a budget of less than $1M.
The film is expected to earn more this weekend than it did in its opening weekend, a rare feat.
STATEMENT ON PROVINCIAL ADDRESS
The Premier of Alberta intervened to lower the threshold for getting a separatist question on the ballot. She then intervened to eliminate a review requiring the question be constitutional. She intervenes again tonight after yet another court has told the separatists to slow down and follow the law.
The premier can wrap these actions in the words of democracy, but she is willfully ignoring the will of the vast majority of Albertans who want no part of this separatist conversation.
The simple reality, a reality you would not find in her speech, is this: she has pushed along a question because a group has threatened to bring down her and her party if she does not.
Her internal political problems have become our national crisis.
The Premier asserts her patriotism. I will take her at her word, but I will remind her a patriot puts country ahead of party. A leader steers the agenda, rather than having it blindly dictated to them. An Albertan finds ways to do what’s right, not justifications for doing what’s wrong.
This baffling, referendum-on-a-referendum question will do nothing to settle anything. It adds another layer of confusion. It will divide. It will distract. It will damage.
I hope her government will consider how to step back from this madness before the damage to our province’s social fabric and economy is too great.

Imagine that. Turns out you can’t lawfully hold a referendum on whether to take something that isn’t yours: like land covered by treaties, or the sovereign territory of Canada.
It’s actually pretty crazy nearly 3million Albertans (allegedly) had their electoral data posted on the web for all to see…
And not one gov’t minister, police force, investigative body, or public service agency has called a press conference to speak to Albertans. #ableg
