@jbarsczewski My personal bugbear with the use of the phrase “plot hole” is when people use it to describe humans not making the 100% most logical/rational decision in any given situation. “Why didn’t X do Y?” That’s not a plot hole, that’s humans being humans.

@iSHEDWHATiSHED As someone who is literally Doctor Priest, I can confirm the occasional confusion 🤣 I feel like there are some definite adjustments that will keep happening as new grammatical practices update to reflect changing social norms and progress!

@iSHEDWHATiSHED …it began as a way to take some of the burden off trans folks having to always correct people to their proper pronouns (I.e., making pronoun usage not necessarily synonymous with being trans). Additionally, I do think the “stuffiness” of formal titles is becoming less standard.
