Lord and Savior refers to the two primary functions of Christ in the gospel. One is the saving power of Christ to redeem us from sin, seal us with the Holy Spirit, and spare us from the Father’s wrath (Savior). The other is in how we are lead by “the Way” (Lord).
From the Lord’s prayer: “Thy Kingdom come, thy Will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” According to this then, what must be our first priority? God and His Kingdom (His sCePTRe). What is the CPTR? The Kingdom of God and tetragrammaton. Thus, it is my first priority.
Those who endure in the faith until the end shall be saved. Do not let yourselves fall away or turn against God. Do not become sons of Belial (spiritually worthless and lawless). Haven’t you heard? Faith without works is dead. Keep His covenant and you will receive His promises.
PaRaChuTe: If one is given a parachute and they neither wear it, know how to deploy it, nor actually do the deploying, they will perish anyways. In this way, the gospel is like a parachute.
