Now BO3 TPC rule is
2-0 winner gets 6 pts
2-1 winner gets 5 pts / loser gets 1 pt
1-0 winner gets 3 pts
(there is no draw, if it is time on 1-1, there are rules to solve this.)

Even they use in swiss, I just talk with my friends that this is a merciful single elimination lol.
