@NoContextHumans I guess that 2019 was the last year of the blissful naivete about this 'civilisation' and the innocence of political, social imagination and hopes.
President Trump has posted this picture on social media of himself as Christ healing the sick. I’ve long given up saying how hard it is to think of any previous US president who behaved like Donald Trump, but comparing himself to Jesus puts him on another level altogether.

#Allegation case of #ScottMills is yet another step towards disintegration of British, European societies.
After the #Feminist#MeToo 'witch hunts' against men
-men started to avoid women.
Now, yet another reason for men to avoid any contact w children & youth…

@Beaulieu600@danwootton "Where’s the ‘innocent until proved guilty’ doctrine?"
-It is somewhere in a distant Past!
The modern British, European politicians think and practice, that proving some man's guilt is now obsolete, unnecessary, bothersome.
In #AllegationEra - allegations are enough (#ScottMills
@Ad3895523490223@danwootton It 'used to be' that way in the 'old good times' of the 'law of evidence' and 'proof'.
Nowadays, UK Britain has been significantly modernised and feminised for 'Allegations Era', so old "allegations" are more than enough to destroy a man's life & career.
#ScottMills#allegations
@basedgays@danwootton "I want to see evidence" (for Scott Mills "alleged" crime)
-I disagree. In this modern #Tories & #Labour UK Britain, some funny thing as "evidence" is not required anymore, cos only (decade ago) rejected "allegations" are enough to ruin a man's career.
UK is in "Allegations Era"

The people of #USA freely elected(2x !) and have been supporting the utterly incompetent and destructive on the global scale - #DonaldTrump
USA ppl had their privilege to vote for Trump, but the billions of people of World will suffer & die.
Serious question…
Do Americans have a plan to stop Trump, or are they just going to let him end the world?
Because from the outside, it feels like people see the fire… and just watch it spread.
The most absurd part is this: when Europeans refuse to get involved in a war with Iran, Trump throws tantrums, hurling insults and threats. When Europeans agree to cooperate with him, Trump still throws tantrums, hurling insults and threats, and declares he doesn’t need anyone.
When Ukraine -- despite all the shovelfuls of dirt that Trump throws at it daily -- chooses not to be a dick about the situation and immediately offers help, along with its specific technologies and frontline experience, Trump still throws tantrums, hurling insults and threats.
And his exhalted fans online shout that Ukraine is “ungrateful” (to whom?? to Trump??) and isn’t eagerly licking his boots hard enough. He’s now publicly smearing even Mohammed bin Salman with crude insults.
In this sea of erratic behavior, there are simply no rules for navigating it correctly. No matter what you do, the outcome is the same.
Apparently, the only winning strategy is to behave like Putin and directly and openly support the Iranian regime. Then Donald Trump will be the one tiptoeing around you, brushing off dust, and kissing your hands.

Male refugees from Afghanistan and Syria in Germany show a keen interest in forming relationships with local women, but the local women show little interest in forming relationships with them.
Germany, in particular, received over 1,4 million refugees between 2014 and 2016, predominantly from Muslim-majority countries such as Syria and Afghanistan. The majority of these arrivals consisted of young, single men within prime marriageable age brackets. This study examines partnership preferences of male refugees from Afghanistan and Syria who arrived in Germany between 2014 and 2016 and female residents of similar age.
Overall, our results indicate a high level of openness among male refugees towards partnering with female members of the resident population, but a comparatively low level of openness among the latter towards partnering with recently arrived male refugees. This implies a substantial incongruence in partnership preferences among the two groups.
Regarding the educational level of a potential partner, we found that all respondents prefer highly educated partners over those with lower levels of education. This suggests that, for refugees, securing a highly educated partner might serve as a means of upward social mobility and integration into higher-status networks in the host society.
Furthermore, it is possible that highly educated women, due to their greater exposure to diverse social environments and potentially less discriminatory attitudes, are perceived as more open to intergroup partnerships, making them a more attractive choice for refugees seeking acceptance and social integration.
On the other hand, the reluctance of resident women to accept partnerships with refugees is largely explained by their rejection of the ‘imported’ religious Islam. It is possible that resident women perceive the religious practices of newly arrived refugees as different from their own, reinforcing a social distance that limits intergroup partnerships. Moreover, this reluctance might not only reflect religious differences but also concerns about gender norms or perceived lifestyle incompatibilities.
