I won't buy American products until all the bullshit tariffs are agreed upon.
I am standing with all the Canadian people who have lost their jobs or businesses due to the illegal tariffs.
So, no, not buying American liquor isn't being childish; it's loving my country, and seeing other Canadians lose their homes really pisses me off.
Maybe look at the boycott differently and at what it's really all about.
Strawberries from US marked down all the way to $1.50 and still no takers. Literally rotting on the shelves. I just love my fellow Canadians. Hold the line
New York: it's hot out there, and the power grid is working overtime to keep us cool.
Set your AC to 78 degrees, turn off lights/electronics you're not using, and unplug what you can.
Our City is doing its part too: maintaining the 78 degrees rule in our buildings, dimming/turning off our lights during peak electricity demand, asking private partners to do the same, and powering down non-essential equipment.
A stable grid means the AC stays on, and lives are saved. Let's ease demand — and get through the heat — together.
