NOT BORING! Your kids can certainly have fun as they get ready for the STAAR test! Read a selection, discuss it, split the class in teams and give them the questions. Then you go outside to play a game and check which team answered the most questions correctly.

En 3er grado en LVE tuvimos un final de la unidad de Geografía y Cambios increíbles al usar la creatividad desafiando las fuerzas de la gravedad, la naturaleza y sus efectos al diseñar una barrera de contención para derrumbes. @NISDLeonValley @NisdBILESL

Our 3rd grade dual language students at LVE had an amazing end to the Geography and Change unit by using their creativity defying the forces of gravity, nature and their effects by engineering a retaining barrier for landslides. @NISDLeonValley @NisdBILESL

Saddened to continue to see public school educators being attacked, especially as they enthusiastically await and prepare to begin a new school year.

I've been an educator since 2002, and I've never witnessed any woke agendas. What is taught are the TEKS ~ those are the basics of learning that come from TEA.

La semana pasada en SEL vimos que al comunicarnos, es muy importante saber la información exacta antes de dársela a alguien más. Formamos un círculo y nos dimos un mensaje en secreto. Al final, el mensaje original había cambiado totalmente. Aprendimos mucho con esta actividad.
