How it started, and how it's going. Thank you so much @Larskooistra_ for tolerating my nonsense and teaching me a skill set that will be fruitful for my family, and the Biblically sound Churches I will support. All the glory to Jesus!
🧠Human Psychology & Patience
Your brain wasn’t built for patience.
It was built for survival.
For grabbing the fruit when it was ripe.
For eating when food was near.
In the wild, waiting could mean starving.
In the modern world, waiting is the only edge left.
Every chart is a trap for the impatient.
Every flashing candle is a test of biology.
Your DNA screams: “Act now.”
But mastery whispers: “Wait.”
Impatience gives you action.
Patience gives you results.
The impatient trader sees noise.
The patient trader sees structure.
One reacts, the other observes.
Your brain is wired for the short term.
That’s why instant dopamine feels safe.
But compounding lives in the long term.
And only those who rewire survive.
Discipline is unnatural.
Waiting is unnatural.
But so is greatness.
The market doesn’t reward speed.
It rewards silence.
It rewards the one who can sit through chaos
and still see the signal.
Patience is not passive.
It’s the most aggressive play in existence.
Because while the crowd burns energy,
you conserve it.
And then you strike.
Your ancestors hunted with spears.
You hunt with entries.
Both require the same thing:
The ability to hold still
until the exact moment.
Remember:
The market will always pay the patient.
Because patience is the rarest skill left
in a world that runs on urgency.
