More and more Jews in Israel and around the world look to the left and find hatred, then look to the right and find the very same. On one side, the hostility is driven by liberal, progressive, and often even communist ideology. On the other, it is fueled by outright racism and antisemitism.
The more they try to fit in, the more they are met with walls of hatred and rejection, wrapped in blood libels and conspiracy theories.
Perhaps this is exactly what Balaam saw when he declared:
“For from the top of the rocks I see him,
And from the hills I behold him;
There! A people dwelling alone,
Not reckoning itself among the nations.”
(Numbers 23:9 NKJV)
When you reach rock bottom and look in every direction, finding neither help nor sympathy, there is only one place left to look - not merely to the hills and the mountains, but far above them, to heaven itself.
“I will lift up my eyes to the hills -
From whence comes my help?
My help comes from the Lord,
Who made heaven and earth.”
(Psalm 121:1–2 NKJV)
Israel may stand alone among the nations, but she is never alone. The Keeper of Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, and the Maker of heaven and earth remains faithful to His covenant and to His people forever.
Shalom from Galilee,
People often ask me how I can be so alarmed by the current shift in U.S. policy toward Israel while at the same time teach that such developments were predicted in Scripture.
That is an excellent question.
As believers, we are often torn between what we know and what we see. We know the direction in which this fallen world is heading, yet we still grieve over it and resist every attempt to pressure us into becoming part of its rebellion against God.
In the case of the current U.S. administration’s turn against Israel, it hurts even more because it is being carried out by the most pro-Israel president America has ever had.
You may ask, “Amir, what is the point of resisting and speaking out against things that are already foretold?”
This is exactly where we must remember two truths from Scripture.
Although we are in this world, we are not of this world. As our Messiah said:
“They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.”
(John 17:16 NKJV)
And Paul wrote:
“And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”
(Galatians 6:9 NKJV)
Though we know what God has foretold, we are still called to stand for what is right and not grow weary in doing good.
My dear brothers and sisters, our hearts are going to break many times because of the things we are about to witness in this world.
In fact, neither the rapture nor even our return with the Lord to reign during the thousand-year Kingdom will completely remove the reality of man’s fallen nature. At the end of the greatest theocracy the world will ever know - with Yeshua Himself reigning from Jerusalem - Satan will be released from his prison and will deceive multitudes into joining him in what will become the greatest rebellion in human history.
“Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea.”
(Revelation 20:7–8 NKJV)
Yes, our hearts will be broken, and we will shed many tears. But only in the New Jerusalem will we finally enjoy a world free from sin and sorrow.
“And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
(Revelation 21:4 NKJV)
Therefore, let me encourage you to remain gracious and to rejoice in the Lord - not in the world - as we eagerly await our Messiah, who is coming to take us to be with Him.
“Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!”
(Philippians 4:4 NKJV)
And as Paul wrote:
“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”
(1 Corinthians 15:58 NKJV)
As we keep
“looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,”
(Titus 2:13 NKJV)
Awaiting His Return,
Amir
This Israeli girl was shot 12 times by Palestinian terrorists on October 7th.
She played dead for hours before she was rescued.
After being intubated, going through PT, and learning how to walk again, Eden Ram survived.
A real survivor.
@beholdisrael I’m so sad and ashamed to be part of a country that is involved in this horrible deal and for how it hurts Israel. I am so sorry 😢. We are one step closer to home.
Israel gave up Gaza in 2005 and got slaughtered in return.
Rockets, kidnappings, massacres.
All from a society that teaches kids to kill Jews.
We owe them nothing. NEVER again.
I have been getting a lot of hate in the past few days, but I would rather people hate me for telling the truth than love me for telling a lie.
If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. - Jesus Christ
I am deeply grateful for the trust President Trump placed in me and for the opportunity to lead @ODNIgov for the last year and a half.
Unfortunately, I must submit my resignation, effective June 30, 2026. My husband, Abraham, has recently been diagnosed with an extremely rare form of bone cancer. He faces major challenges in the coming weeks and months. At this time, I must step away from public service to be by his side and fully support him through this battle.

"I don't want to go. I don't want to leave. The people here are the most extraordinary people I've ever met in my entire life. We will pray for the success of the IDF. Israel will win."
@PatriciaHeaton Something positive in my area, Baltimore to combat some of the vile Jewish hatred in the world. We need more of this:

Rabbi Nechemia Schusterman, Chabad rabbi in @CityofPeabodyMA , Massachusetts writes:
"Over the past few weeks, a series of deeply disturbing incidents have taken place in our otherwise peaceful community of Peabody, and I feel compelled to share them and ask for the awareness and partnership of both my Jewish and non-Jewish neighbors.
Last weekend, my brother-in-law was walking to synagogue when someone in a passing car shouted “Heil Hitler” at him. A few days later, (yesterday and today) during the holiday of Shavuot—a time of joy and unity celebrating the receiving of the Torah—a car drove by and yelled “Free Palestine.” I was then told to “go f*** yourself,” followed by “f***ing Jews,” and then something even more vile—that I should “r*pe my daughters.”
I don’t repeat this lightly, but it is important to be honest about what is being said out loud, on our streets, in our town.
Today, my 15-year-old son was also targeted—spat at from a passing car and called “dirty Jew.” What was especially disturbing was that it was not just a reckless teenager, but the adult—(the father?) who shouted it over the crouching and squirming teen beside him. These are not isolated incidents. They are happening with increasing frequency, and they are affecting our families and our sense of safety."
