THE INSPECTOR GENERAL OF POLICE SHOULD TAKE OVER THE OKUAMA INVESTIGATION.

The Chief of Defence Staff ought to have reached out to his brother, the Inspector General of Police, for assistance in the Okuama matter.

The Chief of Defence Staff is a soldier and not a policeman and while he is our gallant defender, he has no reliable competence in investigations or catching crooks because that is neither his training nor competence.

Apprehending criminals is the speciality of the police and the forte of his colleague, IGP Egbetokun.

It appears the psychos who murdered our dear officers will get away with the crime the way we are going about this.

We must not downgrade or, howsoever, belittle our police; they are competent and reliable.

It is time for the police to fully take charge of this investigation.

THE COASTAL ROAD IS A PROJECT THAT MUST BE COMPLETED.

The Tinubu Media Support Group, TSMG, was founded to give our President, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the requisite media support to deliver on his mandate to the good people of this great country.

We are not sycophants; we are supporters and there is a big difference between a supporter and a sycophant.

A sycophant will dump you anytime but a true supporter reveals himself when it matters most.

The Tinubu Media Support Group exists to give our dear President honest and forthright feedback on the pulse of the nation and the feelings of our dear citizens.

We would like to intervene on the matter of the Coastal Road, a legacy project of the Bola Tinubu administration.

We find the take of both Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi on the project to be most deplorable to say the least.

While they have been playing politics with a project of exceedingly great importance to many of our countrymen and women, they have taken their political rascality to a most absurd extent on this matter of the Coastal Road.

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has even gone to the extent of attacking family members of our President over the laudable project.

Have we sunk so low that after attacking one another we start targeting each others children?

Is that the stage we have reduced ourselves to in politics in this country?

We start insulting each others wives and disparaging each others children?

Good God!

Seyi Tinubu is my son; how can I love the father without loving the son?

That's fake love.

So when you see me, you smile but when you see my child you frown or scowl or you look left and right and if there's no one looking you will harm my child?

You're a coward - you come and face me as a man; you don't attack my children.

Atiku Abubakar's desperation is clearly beyond all norms of acceptable behaviour and just as his unachievable ambition is a complete waste of time.

What God will do, He will do and what He will not do, He will not do, and, there is absolutely nothing any of us humans can do about that.

The Coastal Road is something most dear to the hearts of those of us who come from the litoral states of this country and we consider it a very big insult for the likes of Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi to oppose a project that ought to have been undertaken a long time ago that President Tinubu has decided to undertake as one of his core legacy projects.

What is even this utter nonsense of fixing hinterland roads rather than building a coastal road?

We should abandon the Coastal Road to construct one in Jada or in Agulu?

How much have Jada or Agulu contributed to the income and development of Nigeria that they should have priority over the Niger Delta and the South-west?

Any one against the Coastal Road is against the people of the Niger Delta and the South-west - indeed any such person is against our entire nation because the Coastal Road will end up tremendously benefiting our entire nation.

This insanity of playing politics with everything must stop forthwith and must no longer be tolerated.

You love me but you don't love my children?

If Bola Tinubu were to see absolutely any child of Atiku Abubakar today, our President would embrace him or her as his own flesh and blood.

The same man who rehabilitated you politically and gave you a presidential ticket is the same man you can stoop so low as to attack his children?

You are clearly not presidential material.

May the long awaited dream of a coastal road come to fruition in this administration as one of, if not the chief legacy of President Bola Tinubu.

WHY THE EFCC CAN NO LONGER PROSECUTE YAHAYA BELLO

Regarding the case between the EFCC and my dear brother and fellow party member, former Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State, the EFCC can no longer prosecute him having run most riotously foul of the law.

Where there is a criminal matter before the court, it is all of us as a society, indeed, as a state, versus the accused person. 

Yet, all of us as a society, as a state, as a country, in that court of law, we are equal to that person, we are not more than that person and that person is not more than us. 

That is how a court is fair.

Now, where a person has been charged to court, and the prosecutor is so incompetent, so ridiculously incompetent, that the prosecuting authority says it is a personal matter, even to the extent of the the head of the prosecuting authority saying he will resign if he cannot jail the person, where a case is already in court and the prosecutor is so incompetent that while a matter is pending in court, he calls a press conference and starts litigating the case already before the court, in the court of public opinion, that authority has lost its right to prosecute such person.

We must all respect the court; we don't have a choice in the matter.

We must all respect the court because it is the court that guarantees our civilization and that is why we are not barbarians. 

It is like the nonsense they were saying about our President that he did this, he did that. 

We defeated all of them in court. 

President Bola Tinubu defeated all of them in court. 

In fact, our President disgraced all of them in court and I am proud to have been one of his lawyers. 

So, we go to court because the court is the arbiter. 

We do not subscribe to jungle justice and a prosecuting authority, a prosecutor, cannot undermine the authority of the court by unilaterally, while a matter is pending before a court of competent jurisdiction, and then he calls a press conference and people are hailing him and laughing ... I mean, what a shame! 

The evidence he ought to present in court, he starts presenting it before whoever he called for his so called press conference. 

Well, according to the law, you now lose your authority to prosecute the person. 

At this moment, according to law, the EFCC no longer has any right to prosecute Yahaya Bello. 

That is the law. 

We cannot have a government agency tarnishing the reputation of citizens. 

We are citizens and we have rights. 

We are not in a dictatorship. 

In any civilized society, the court is paramount, otherwise, the society breaks down. 

In constitutional law, we say Legislature, first arm of government; Executive, second arm of government; Judiciary, third arm of government. 

That is not how they originated. 

In fact, governance first crystalized at the level of the exercise of judicial functions. 

It is there in the Holy Bible. 

There were judges before there were kings. 

Go and read your Bible. 

There is a reason why we have courts. 

A government agency cannot decompose itself into a mere mob. 

What a shame!

You have charged a person to court, you will wait for the judicial process to take its course. 

What we try to prevent in law is self-help. 

In fact, the entire idea of the rule of law is to prevent self-help. 

So, you and I are quarrelling, instead of me to carry machete or AK47 or rocket launcher to come after you, I will go to the Police first, that is why we have Police; or, I will sue you to court. 

In fact, we should probe the EFCC. 

They are so carried away. 

They just feel they can intimidate anybody, as if everybody in the country is a crook. 

Unfortunately for the EFCC, they have so mismanaged this matter of Yahaya Bello. 

It is not even a question of convicting him, they can't prosecute him anymore. 

You can't be prosecuting him in court and then tarnishing his reputation in press conferences.

The EFCC can no longer prosecute former governor Yahaya Bello.
