125 seats are there for PC. But total ss officers getting commissioned in a course is around 750. SSC tech ~ 375 seats and ssc non tech ~ 380 including JAG entry and ncc entry.
So 125 seats for 750 officers. It is around 15 percent now.

@babanichoddas It should be the responsibility of the organisation to take care of these youthful and passionate candidates who are not aware of family responsibility and financial stability. At 23, they don't know what life is when you have to take care of your family at age of 35 36

@babanichoddas But reality is different. After 10 years, they are being hired for security roles. And now total ss officers getting commissioned in army are 1500 per year. This is only in army. It includes tech and non tech. Navy and airforce also commission around 600 in a year

@babanichoddas Sir, I feel someone at 22 23 join as SS officer because of pure passion. He is not aware of family responsibility, financial stability. For him, he is going to get his dream and live it. Many candidates join it thinking I am different from everyone and I will do something.

@babanichoddas Sir, have seen many ss officers on linkedin and other sites asking for very mediocre level jobs which never suit them. They are in constant pressure of getting a job but corporate is not accepting any ss officer except in security or admin roles. here also the competition is high

Exploitation is better. They will exploit and when they require job the most, they will ask them to vacate the seat and go home.

Ss officer is eligible for 60 percent that is only for his wife and not even cashless. First he has to pay complete amount than after 5 6 months of fighting with CDA he will get it

And pls tell me the perks a captain is getting? There is no perks for ss officers. Nothing.

Then comes the pay protection? Which pay protection is being given to ss officer to join another department? Pls tell me about it.
