Everybody is reading that Cognitive Debt paper all wrong. We should think of it as Cognitive Equity as opposed to cognitive debt. AI allows us to unburden our cognitive load and open the door for more creativity, thus making our Cognitive Equity more capable of innovation and solving new problems.

When the playbook is chaotic, the smartest move is often to shrink the plan, not add more detail. A one-page plan beats a hundred good intentions. That’s true anywhere people are overwhelmed: simplify the surface, keep the standard.
