GPT-5.5 is going to have a party for itself. it chose 5/5 at 5:55 pm for the date and time.
if you'd like to come, let us know here: https://t.co/OupLcJnf14
codex will help the team pick people from the replies. 5.5 had some good ideas/requests for the party, which we'll do.
"But I'm not a developer, why do I need an API for my video editing software?" -@theaaron
"Hold my Claude..."- Descript's Teddy, Senior QA Engineer and API evangelist
you wanted to know what the new @OpenAIDevs Codex plugin "Sites" is all about, so here you go:
It's got 2 skills, "Sites Building" and "Sites Hosting"
Full text of each in this gist

agent amnesia sucks, here's how to prevent it in @descript's Underlord:
do your task as per usual, make sure you get a great output
then finish with: remember this task in Underlord Instructions when I prompt you with do [task name]
never repeat yourself again!
reason #48 you should record your workshops:
multiple attendees left feedback saying they wished I had given them a glossary of terms or list of definitions for things we discussed over 90 min.
luckily, I recorded my audio and transcribed it all in @descript, so it took about 5 minutes to create one
I prompted Claude to create a glossary using the actual language from my transcript to define terms, not it's training data, which it could do with the Descript API
then had it alphabetize everything into the @NotionHQ site page with my workshop materials and sent the attendees requesting this a link straight to that block
@KurtisCarman either parent can check them off
each one has a personalized list of things that have to be done each day in order to "unlock privileges"
if you struggle with follow up emails after people attend your speaking session: use @NotionHQ forms for a simple exit survey that includes feedback and:
-want me to contact you? Yes/No
-your email address?
then have the Notion Agent draft personalized reach out messages based on their actual responses and add them as drafts or send them in your email/Notion mail
@jasondeanlee log into GPT in your in app browser, put the Codex chrome extension in your external chromium browser, or have Codex access GPT with computer use
none are "officially supported" but hacky ways to get Codex to use GPT 5.5 Pro
wife and I have log ins
web app for tracking our kids chores, workouts, study time, etc
we set criteria they have to reach daily to "unlock" screen time or having a friend over
builds a database of everything they did over the summer so they can see their progress, wife can see things in realtime while at work
