“Hi honey, how do you like our new £100k motor home?”
- “Smashing, but where did we get the money?”
“Don’t worry about it”.
- “OK then” - said no one’s wife, ever, in the history of Holy matrimony.

The Laws of the Game (IFAB)According to the IFAB Laws of the Game, the specific rules and consequences regarding extra people on the pitch include:
Basic Requirement: A match is played by two teams, each with a maximum of 11 players, one of whom must be the goalkeeper.
Stop and Remove: If an extra person (such as a substitute, team official, or an extra player) enters the field of play, the referee must have the extra person removed immediately.
Goal Scored: If a team with 12 players scores a goal and the referee notices the error before play restarts, the goal is disallowed. The game restarts with an indirect free kick for the opposing team.
Retrospective Action: If play has already restarted after a goal and the referee realizes a 12th player was on the pitch, the goal stands. The incident is reported to the governing competition authorities for review.
Celtic seem to think teams should be kicked out of competitions for accidentaly fielding unregistered players who had zero impact on a game but their own fans can attack players and management of rival teams and use mob rule to get matches abandoned with zero consequences 🤔
@Jynks67 Slavia Prague were leading Sparta Prague 7 mins into stoppage time one week ago when their fans invaded the pitch.
They were fined £350K, ordered to play 4 games behind closed doors and forfeited the game 3-0.
Would you call that moot?
They spent weeks crying about their staff apparently being “assaulted” at Ibrox. They have now went and attacked multiple Hearts players on their own park. Wonder how they will make themselves the victims over this situation
A qualified lawyer has just advised that @ScottishFA must be adhere to the rulebook & if a match was not completed properly it's allocated time then legally the @ScottishFA must act.
@JamTarts must now take this up.
Martin O’Neill confirmed that he was told by the 4th official that there was still time left to play when the pitch invasion by Celtic fans occurred.
So why are SFA reporting that the referee called for the end of the game?
Stop the lies. The whole world is watching.
Referees, like anyone, should not have to suffer threats or intimidation.
But this hasn't just happened in a scottish oasis of calm and tranquility where refs have been supported and lauded.
There has been a form of aggressive lobbying from the top of one football club ever since the Dougie McDonald incident, this set a tone and agenda that their fanbase carried relentlessly without counter or repercussion.
The referee strike and why it happened has been erased from history. That should have been a watershed moment - it wasn't
They continued as they started to see results from the pressure, and successive CEOs / chairman / managers of Celtic maintained the tone and pressure - explicit and implicit. And now here we are.
Rangers have occasionally spoke up when they feel the need, but nothing as concerted and pernicious as Celtic's 15yr campaign.
This statement tells a story much higher than Beaton got threats because of Wednesday night, but most don't want to tell it.
