@Thedarktriarch I haven't paid attention to lore much since Chapter 5 do they explain why the cube is red now or what that means? The other cubes we've seen have special effects and I haven't heard that the red cube has any effects that make it unique

@Mephwen0 @zureska If I'm not mistaken, Geno has also worked closely with TLR. I think they have higher ambitions than being a lackey but I doubt Geno wouldn't notice a spy. They want total domination and probably think Geno is the fastest way to that

@ShapelessBella Truly the least appreciated member of the Seven. Before OG I would've said the Visitor but there's (technically) a new Visitor. The Scientist has one of the worst skins and had only been active for like 2 seasons before being killed off

@Arkselta I liked all of the previous gimmicks a lot more than sprites but I think sprites will stick.
Epic has seen that the playerbase has basically returned to 2016 during peak PoGo and they're in a very different place to other points during Fortnite. They're more desperate for revenue

@CoolioNeru I would've put Scientist dead last. It's just such an ugly suit for a character that deserves more. I'm hoping he returns in OG season X. Maybe Epic saw how hyped everyone gets when the Seven shows up and will give us a remake of the skin

@Arkselta It feels like they always have one "Expert" in every season who just serves the purpose of being confident and informed. I want my story to come from characters that exist for more than one season or even did something big during their own season like the Herald

@AlignedEclipse I also think DV could be a simulated TLR. I think it's clear that Geno has some stakes in OG and whether it's just a very similar reality or a simulation, he's trying to make it his own. Maybe DV came from OG's reality and Geno recruited him for his wider plans

@AlignedEclipse I headcannon DV as a physical manifestation of TLR. He's constructed with chaos cubes and all of his abilities are cube adjacent in some way. Maybe something went sour with the nothing (I can't remember if they are or aren't TLR) and TLR had to focus their efforst on DV

@Fungi488 I really think it's just a transition. Maybe it was planned but usually fortnite has the seasons of a chapter lined up as concepts and make them real as the current season ends. I doubt they've put this much focus on the next season given more important seasons had less
