Jacob’s Trouble
The Bible speaks of a future time of unparalleled devastation and tribulation for Israel, described as the time of Jacob’s trouble:
(Jeremiah 30:7)
“Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob’s trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.”
This biblical point refers to a future period where all nations will gather against Israel in a staggering display of hostility and aggression. The atmosphere will be one of relentless fear, as the very survival of the nation hangs in the balance. Contention will ripple through every corner of the earth, with nations uniting in an unprecedented coalition of hatred against Israel. Panic will grip the hearts of the inhabitants as they face overwhelming odds, their cities surrounded, their defenses pushed to the brink, and no visible hope of deliverance.
(Philippians 2:8)
And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
(Hebrews 12:2)
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Before Christianity became widespread, crucifixion in the Roman Empire was primarily associated with extreme punishment, especially for:
Slaves
Rebels and insurrectionists
Pirates
Non-citizen criminals
Roman citizens were usually exempt from crucifixion except in extraordinary cases. It was considered one of the most shameful and degrading forms of execution.
Ancient Roman writers even connected crucifixion with slavery. The punishment was sometimes called servile supplicium (“the slave’s punishment”). A slave who rebelled, murdered a master, or participated in a revolt could be crucified.
A famous example is after the rebellion led by Spartacus in 71 BC. Thousands of captured slaves were crucified along the road between Capua and Rome as a warning to others.
This is one reason the crucifixion of Jesus of Nazareth was so shocking in the first century. Crucifixion was not viewed as an honorable death. It was a death associated with humiliation, disgrace, slavery, and rebellion. Early Christians were proclaiming that the man executed in the most shameful way imaginable was actually the Messiah and Lord -AI
Yes but my XRP is only 5% of the amount of XL M that I hold. If God is willing, I will be able to retire from my investments. I can make plans all day but the conclusion is only what God allows. But as far as my plan my plan is long-term once I put money in crypto I plan to leave it there until the market crash if the market doesn’t crash within 20 years or something else happens I’ll cash out. I hope to use discernment and discretion, wisdom in these matters.
(Proverbs 19:21)
There are many devices in a man’s heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.
This is a moment in my life that changed me. It was the watershed moment of my life. I wouldn’t compare it to Paul’s Damascus Road conversion, but it was probably the closest thing to that in my life that I’ve ever had.
What followed was a cascade of life-changing events, each one unfolding in sequence and profoundly shaping the course of my life. The photo says it all but without context, you don’t actually know what happened unless you ask me, but I can testify at this moment that what happened our extraordinary
(Hebrews 12:11) “Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.”
@GregCru61742739@team4warriors The genius act is already law. A lot of people keep saying July 4th, but July 18 is the key date tied to rulemaking. The full effective date is the earlier of January 18, 2027, or 120 days after final regulations are issued. That’s why July 18 matters more than July 4.
Is this guy trying to say that nobody should ever post anything on social media ever again because the scenario that he proposed is happening everywhere? I’m sure that this scenario could be true but it’s extremely unlikely. When I say it’s extremely unlikely, please take the word extreme literally.
@MalingaGalabada (Isaiah 3:12)
“As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.”
@TopStriker@Cobratate This is absolutely true. I totally 100% agree. Not only do I agree, but except the best explanation I’ve ever heard. 100% on point 💯
Christianity was not created by your group. Christianity is the fulfillment of God’s purpose in Jesus Christ. The Law, the Prophets, and the Scriptures all point to Christ. The foundation of Christianity is not a people, a bloodline, or a movement, but Jesus Christ Himself. Without Christ there is no Christianity. Without your group, Christ remains exactly who He is.
@mr_hari75249 (Ezekiel 33:11)
“Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?”
@mr_hari75249 News Flash: God created Hell for the wicked and he wants them there and he will actually stand there and watch you burn!
(2 Thessalonians 1:9)
“Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;”
I saw the interview with interrogation with the guy. The doctor reported there was nothing wrong with this kid at all. He wasn’t allergic to anything. He didn’t have any bruises that just popped up out of nowhere and afterwards it showed some things that were wrong with the boy drying conclusions to sexual battery. They were horrific things and all the stepfather could say is that’s a lie or you can’t prove that, but logic says otherwise.
@maximumpain333 As a truck driver for many years, I specifically be around going to Airport to pick up Jet Fuel so you’re telling me tons of Jet Fuel just disappeared at airport all across the world? Face palm 🤦♂️
@VideosProh As a truck driver I can say that if I was him I would have dove head first and push the brakes with my hand, then put it in part the thing that I don’t understand is how he took control of the truck, but still left it in neutral? Mind boggle!!
