Congratulations to Professor Ishay Rosen-Zvi, author of the forthcoming book, REDISCOVERING THE HOLIDAYS: THE FORGOTTEN HISTORY OF JEWISH FESTIVALS (JPS, April 2027), on his election to the American Academy of Arts & Sciences as an International Honorary Member in the category of Religious Studies!

Prof. Rosen-Zvi teaches rabbinic literature at the Department of Jewish Philosophy and Talmud at Tel-Aviv University. In 2024-5 he was the Gerard Weinstock Visiting Professor and a Harry Starr Fellow at the Center for Jewish Studies, Harvard University. He has taught in many universities among them Princeton, UC Berkeley, UCLA and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
