Seven years ago, the Rohingya people of Burma suffered horrors at the hands of Burma's military. Tell your representatives: Support the Rohingya Genocide, Accountability, & Protection (GAP) Act to provide humanitarian aid and more for the Rohingya people. https://t.co/ppSpozfxq8
We call on the U.S. government to do all it can to bring a swift end to the war in Burma, restore democracy and pressure the military and the Arakan Army to treat the Rohingya as citizens with equal human rights. Our full statement here: https://t.co/jXXMhBE2ql
The Jewish Rohingya Justice Network is a coalition of faith leaders inspired by Jewish values. We know we cannot ignore the atrocities continuing to unfold against the Rohingya people.
This Sunday marks seven years since the Burmese military launched a wave of vicious attacks against the Rohingya people, forcing more than 700,000 people to flee to neighboring Bangladesh. The campaign of violence and persecution amounts to genocide.
It's been nearly seven years since the Burmese military unleashed atrocities that forced 700,000 Rohingya people to flee for their lives. It is past time for the world to act.
We agree with @Lucky2944576441 that the Rohingya crisis "epitomizes the international community’s failure to uphold basic human rights." https://t.co/i7baBY9TLt
This bill is an important step forward to provide protection and humanitarian support to Rohingya people who are suffering continued persecution and displacement.
We applaud @RepGregoryMeeks and @RepMcCaul for introducing the Rohingya Genocide Accountability and Protection (GAP) Act and getting it passed through committee. https://t.co/NDQVtqpvCs
There are many injustices in the world that demand our attention, and the genocide of the Rohingya people is one. Our Jewish values call on us to bear witness and respond to this atrocity by urging Congress to act. https://t.co/y31ze3COKf
JRJN thanks @SecBlinken and @IRF_Ambassador for voicing concerns about persecution based on religion around the world, and for continuing to highlight the plight of the Rohingya people. We must keep advocating for the rights of this oppressed religious minority.
Today marks the third anniversary of Burma's military coup. We mourn the lives and human rights lost since, and commend the activists working to restore democracy. We stand with the Rohingya people and everyone in Burma suffering under military rule. #3YearsSinceTheCoup
We also hope that the State Department will take action to limit the junta's access to jet fuel to prevent more airstrikes against civilians, which have been devastating.
We applaud the @StateDept for these sanctions that will help to cut off an important source of revenue to Myanmar's military regime. We hope that this move will help to prevent further atrocities and human rights violations. https://t.co/XmqpbhPwSR
Today is #RohingyaGenocide Remembrance Day, marking 6 years since the Burmese military escalated their campaign of atrocities. As members of @JewishRohingya, we urge @SecBlinken and @POTUS to lead on preventing further violence and hold those responsible accountable.
We also urge @SecBlinken and @POTUS to take on greater leadership to prevent further atrocities against the #Rohingya, hold those responsible accountable and support conditions leading to a path for safe and voluntary return to #Burma.
Today is #RohingyaGenocide Remembrance Day, marking 6 years since the Burmese military escalated their campaign of violence & marginalization. The Jewish Rohingya Justice Network renews our commitment to ensuring that #NeverAgain means “never again” for anyone, anywhere.

Today marks one year since the U.S. rightfully recognized the atrocities committed by the Burmese military against the Rohingyas as genocide. Now, two years after the coup in Burma, we must continue to condemn the Burmese military for its horrific crimes and attacks on democracy.
I’ll never forget the stories I heard from Rohingya refugees back in 2017. While the U.S. recognized the Burmese military’s genocide, accountability is still missing. On this anniversary of the U.S. genocide determination, I vow to continue working towards an end to the violence.
