@OpieRadio Hey @OpieRadio ! Yeah me too. LOVE them. Back in 90’s at a Beacon Show, I walked into theater super early b/c raining out. Nobody stopped me, and all of a sudden Dickey comes out and the rest of the guys to soundcheck! Had a private ABB jam for 5 minutes. RIP Mr Betts.

@mitchlafon @HueyLewisNews @rockhall @mitchlafon I am a huge Huey fan ( as you and I have discussed on here before) I would say that he was a huge artist that sold a ton of records. He also helped define a very popular decade within pop culture. Influence? Who knows. But he is more deserving than many that r in.

@mitchlafon @ThatEricAlper Mitch- I know exactly what you mean! For me it was The Beach Boys. As a kid, it was something we laughed at. At 46, it is some of the most amazing music ever recorded. Brian Wilson a genius, beautiful harmonies. Hope you are doing ok!
