i’m a huge baseball fan (you’d never guess it), but in baseball, if you bat just .300 (30% success) over your career, you’re basically in the hall of fame. think about that, 70% failure rate, & you’re still a legend. that’s insane.

now think about other parts of life, finding a partner, for example. it’s like a 1/x bet. you’re basically a hall of famer if you get it right just once. most people never think this way, but they should.

the point is, you can be far from perfect in almost every facet of your life. you just have to survive the chaos long enough to connect when it counts.
