@cambslib @agathabattleaxe I read a lot of Agatha Christie books when I was a teenager and really enjoyed them. I love watching the television and film dramatisations of her stories - I recently watched the Sidney Lumet version of Murder on the Orient Express. Fabulous filming and acting!#cambslibchat

@cambslib She has written so many books over quite a wide range of genres - fantasy, thriller, crime and romance! I have been reading her books for years and particularly enjoy her thrillers and fantasy novels. Although my favourite series is her In Death one as J.D. Robb.#cambslibchat

I would like to meet Nora Roberts and ask her how plot lines come to her. I especially love her magical stories - I am currently reading The Awakening which is the first book in a new trilogy.#CambslibChat

Unfortunately I didn't get any books for Christmas and ended up buying my own. However my husband was much luckier and got 3 books - Verbal by Peter Murphy, Entangled Life by Merline Sheldrake (about Fungi) and a book on the history of cheese!#CambslibChat

@cambslib Yes I did buy him Verbal and I agree that there's a theme going there! He's told me all about a fungi that controls ants and changes how they act. It infects their nervous system and makes them climb high and grab onto a leaf. It consumes the ant so it can grow #cambslibchat

@cambslib I really enjoy his programmes but haven't read any of his books. Will have to check them out! Also can recommend watching the film Belle which is about the life of Dido Belle who was born in the West Indies and brought over to England in the late 1700s.#cambslibchat
