BREAKING: The House has passed legislation to make Daylight Saving Time permanent nationwide, ending the twice-a-year clock changes by a 308-117 vote. Backed by President Trump, the bill now heads to the Senate. If approved and signed into law, Americans would no longer have to change their clocks.
🇺🇸Something is happening right now
President Trump made an urgent
unscheduled return to the White House
and intelligence officials were ordered
to be present immediately after reports
of an emergency situation began
circulating.
The details have not been confirmed
publicly but the speed of the response
and the level of officials being called
in is not something that happens
over a minor development.
This comes at one of the most active
moments of this entire administration.
Iran and the United States are actively
exchanging strikes and assassination
plots against the president have
been confirmed by Israeli intelligence
and the Strait of Hormuz situation
is still unresolved. Any one of those
threads developing further would
qualify as exactly the kind of
emergency that pulls a president off
schedule and back behind closed
doors.
Whatever is happening right now the
people who need to know are already in
that room.
Updates are coming and when they do
the weight of this moment will make
a lot more sense.🇺🇸
Fr. Ripperger: “Demons can manipulate our emotions. This is why in the entire history of Catholic spiritual theology, every single Saint has warned against following our emotions in our spiritual life. Because God's not the only one who broadcasts on that channel.”
Wheels down in Turkey. Old Glory over the new Air Force One. Trump arrives to a red carpet and a full welcome ceremony ahead of a critical NATO summit. Strength gets respect.
Bear sightings are becoming more common around Highlands Ranch, so stay alert and give these wild animals plenty of space. If you encounter a bear, do not approach it or feed it. Feeding bears can make them lose their natural fear of people and creates dangerous situations for both humans and wildlife.
If a bear gets too close, make yourself look big, speak in a loud, firm voice, and make loud noises to encourage it to leave the area. Keep your distance, secure your trash, and bring pet food indoors to help prevent unwanted bear visits.
"The vet looked at me and said, 'It might be time to think about saying goodbye.'" Max stopped eating four days ago. Stopped getting up. I'd already started preparing myself. Then Buddy did something I will never forget. He climbed up on that exam table — something he's NEVER allowed to do — and he wouldn't stop pressing his face against Max's. The vet tech tried to gently move him away. Buddy wouldn't budge. And then, for the first time in four days — Max lifted his head. The vet just stood there. Didn't say a word. We're not out of the woods. The vet wants to run more tests tomorrow. But tonight, Max ate three bites of food. Tonight, Max is still here. I don't know what tomorrow holds. But I know I watched a Labrador refuse to let his best friend give up. If you believe dogs fight for each other the way they fight for us — drop a ❤️ for Max and Buddy tonight. He needs all the strength he can get.
This is amazing news! 🙌
Lionsgate and Fathom Entertainment announced that Mel Gibson’s “The Passion of the Christ,” will hit theaters from Sept. 10-17, 2026, in a newly remastered 4K re-release with Dolby Atmos sound. Tickets will go on sale July 24.
The three-time Academy-nominated film starring Jim Caviezel as Jesus of Nazareth was originally released in theaters on Ash Wednesday, February 25, 2004. It became a historic box office success.
The film generated over $100 million in the first five days of its release, becoming the highest five-day opening ever at the time. It was also the largest five-day opening for any film released on a Wednesday and one of the largest R-rated opening weekends at the time.
The news of the re-release comes just after Mel Gibson completed filming the long-awaited sequel, “The Resurrection of the Christ.” The sequel will hit theaters in two parts, the first of which will release on May 6, 2027, also Ascension Thursday.
According to a press release, the theatrical re-release of “The Passion of the Christ” will include an “exclusive, behind-the-scenes sneak peek” of “The Resurrection of the Christ.”
“Audiences attending the re-release of ‘The Passion of the Christ’ will see an exclusive, behind-the-scenes sneak peek of the highly anticipated new film, which tells the story of Christ's victory over death after His greatest sacrifice—a moment that forever changed the course of humanity and continues one of history’s most consequential and enduring stories.”
According to Kevin Grayson, the President of Worldwide Distribution for the Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, the re-release of “The Passion of the Christ” will offer new generations the opportunity to experience the film.
“For millions of people, it was far more than a film—it became a powerful shared cultural and faith experience,” Grayson said. “Bringing it back to theatres in a stunning new restoration allows longtime audiences to experience it in an entirely new way while inviting a new generation to discover it in theatres for the very first time.”
“This also marks the beginning of the journey toward The Resurrection of the Christ: Part One, one of the most ambitious and anticipated faith films ever brought to the screen,” Grayson continued.
“With breathtaking scale, remarkable visual ambition, and a theatrical experience designed for the biggest screen possible, we’re thrilled for audiences to experience these monumental films as intended at the theatre.”

One of the most incredible storm damage pictures I’ve ever seen happened this morning in South Dakota. A 131 mph wind gust in the city of Highmore split the roof of the Catholic Church perfectly illuminating the crucifix. This is not AI, it’s been confirmed real by locals. Truly amazing. When you really contemplate the mystery of the Catholic Church, you will understand that the Catholic Church is heaven on earth.
This day can never be forgotten.
