Today our 25@25 cohort graduated from our the 25@25 Leadership programme.

Over the last 12 months the 25 leaders have learnt from some of the best local and international leaders, including Dr @jaynecbrady and Dr @samanthabarry.

We were so privileged to work with theatre director @ThatDesKennedy along with a team of our city’s leading artists who created very special moments for Amal.

To the unstoppable Enrico De Way, associate artistic director for @walkwithamal and his team of incredibly skilled puppeteers.

And of course a small army of local artists who brought our spectacular programme to life.

Belfast’s artists are world class and our city is brimming with creative talent. We must never forget how they help us connect with our sense of identity and place.

Belfast! What a warm and kind welcome you gave to Little Amal as she arrived to our city this evening. 🥰

This was a truly emotional moment for us as we witnessed hundreds of performers of all ages welcome a little girl with a message a hope. A little girl who has been on a journey across the world reminding us all of the positivity of diversity, unity and togetherness.

Thank you to @walkwithamal for allowing us to be guardians of this magnificent global art project as part of our city's biggest creative celebration #Belfast2024 led by @belfastcc

Little Amal has sailed into Belfast ⛵✨
