📢📢 - 1878s STATEMENT - 📢📢
We thought the potential sale of our biggest young talent was bad enough, but the last 24 hours has topped that.
On Saturday Moyes said "I don't think we can afford to lose any players, we need to stay as strong as we can” - Since then we have lost another 5 players (3 of them who have left play in areas we needed to strengthen in) and only brought 2 in.
To leave us with no back up full backs and just one striker is full on gross negligence, not forgetting we also lost one of our best players at an under valued price in today’s market in the process without replacing him too.
We stated on Sunday that we do not feel that our fanbase’s ambitions and the club’s ambitions align right now - what happened yesterday has proved that even more.
As a group we will still be standing down for the foreseeable future and will not be dedicating a huge amount of our own time to put together the displays that we do that try and generate the best pre match atmosphere possible.
To be clear, this is nothing against the signings we have made, we welcome them to the club and wish them the best of luck here.
However, like the rest of our fanbase, we are utterly disappointed and disgusted with how this transfer window has gone, especially the end of it.
Also for fans asking, just to reiterate - When we design flags, there are rules and regulations that we have to adhere to regarding the wording on our flags during displays, we are not allowed derogatory or offensive wording or images.
If we were able to get a load of flags in the ground to show our feelings of discontent, disappointment & anger over this whole situation, believe us, we would, but this is something that simply wouldn’t be allowed.
Despite how we all feel we still urge fans to get behind our team on the pitch for 90 mins like we did at Bournemouth on Saturday.
We will fully support any action the fanbase takes in reaction to this extremely poor transfer window.
OUR MOTTO IS THE STANDARD WE EXPECT!
Everton left with one recognised striker (Barry), and two full backs (Maitland-Niles and Mykolenko) until January.
Criminally negligent and worse than anything that happened while they were up against PSR wall/funded by 777 loans.
Heads must roll for this.
The rumours of Richarlison costing Everton £35 million are wide off the mark and still some way to go for this transfer to go through.
Everton though have agreed with Spurs to pay £15 million for Richarlison as a separate deal.

📣📣📣 1878s STATEMENT 📣📣📣
First and foremost the 7 of us in this group are fans, fans who spend our hard earned money to follow our team home and away like many others. We are nothing else, just fans like everyone else who wants the best for our football club.
We are an independent group, who have developed a good relationship with the club over the years. However, it doesn’t mean to say that we agree with every decision the club makes and in this situation we certainly don’t.
The potential sale of Harrison Armstrong goes against everything our fanbase stands for, a young talented scouser who is the future of our club.
Should the sale of Harrison Armstrong go ahead, as a group of blues who all do this in our spare time for free, have full time jobs & children.
It has been decided, as a group, that we will be standing down for the foreseeable future and will not be dedicating a huge amount of our own time to put together the displays that we do that try and generate the best pre match atmosphere possible.
We do not feel right now that our fanbase’s ambition and clubs ambition align.
When we design flags, there are rules and regulations that we have to adhere to regarding the wording on our flags during displays, we are not allowed derogatory or offensive wording or images.
If we were able to get a load of flags in the ground to show our feelings of discontent, disappointment & anger over this whole situation, believe us, we would, but this is something that simply wouldn’t be allowed.
We still urge fans to get behind our team on the pitch and sing our hearts out for 90 mins like we did yesterday at Bournemouth.
We will support any actions taken by our fans regarding this.
Our motto ‘Nil Satis Nisi Optimum’ is the standard we expect!
"I'm now feeling the owners aren't for me. After today, I don't believe in you to run my football club.
You sent the CEO out to lie to us & tell us this was a thing of the past 2 weeks ago. I think David Moyes is the only one who cares at the minute"

"Don't sell Armstrong, Harrison Armstrong, I just don't think you understand...If you sell Armstrong, Harrison Armstrong, you're gonna have a riot on your hands." - Everton fans at the Vitality today making their feelings clear 🔵
Selling Armstrong would be like when newcastle sold Anderson - look what hes become, and i feel like armstorng has a higher ceiling. We just cant do it.
🎙️| The club have put something in place that means for every Budweiser pint purchased in the first 45 minutes on Saturday, from 1pm, 50p will be donated to the @The1878s flag fund. It’s a brilliant gesture and we thank the club for the support - @1878carter from @The1878s 🔵
