Vila: Where are all the good guys?
Blake: You could be looking at them.
Avon: What a depressing thought!
There are many things to love about B7, but the Vila/Avon banter is the number one, IMO. RIP, Michael Keating, the only actor to appear in all 52 episodes.
RIP the great Micheal Keating. The heart and soul of Blake's 7, he played cowardly con-man Vila Restal (my favourite character) with a beautifully world-weary charm, and perfect comic timing. He and Paul Darrow's Avon made one of the all-time great double acts.
Remembering Patrick McGoohan, BOTD in 1928 in Astoria, Queens, NYC. Actor, director, writer. Unpredictable, creative, self-willed, demanding, anarchic. More than anything else, perhaps, a unique force of nature. Six of my favourite on-screen Pat performances... 1/7
Where will I find you now? In the memories, our unspoken embraces, our missed phone calls, no, you’re forever in my heart. Deepest condolences to Sharon and all family members. RIP Sincere regrets to all the fans. Never goodbye. Thank you forever. Bill Ward
Remembering Peter Cushing, BOTD 1913. A unique career on stage, screen and television. An actor who played Winston Smith, Sherlock Holmes, Dr Who, Baron Frankenstein, Ven Helsing and Mr Darcy. One of his fondest memories was appearing opposite Laurel & Hardy in A Chump at Oxford.
Just heard that the great Horst Janson -- aka Captain Kronos: Vampire Hunter, the title character of one of Hammer's greatest and weirdest vampire movies -- has passed away at the age of 89. Farewell, Captain. May your sword be forever sharp.
SUPERMAN was released 46 years ago this week. Acclaimed as one of the first and greatest superhero movies, and among the most beloved of director Richard Donner, the story of how it was made will make you believe a man can fly…

13 years ago today we lost Gary Speed. Speedo was something else & you sometimes hear the phrase banded around “everybody loved him” but I can assure you, everybody did in Speedo’s case RIP
🗣 ROOOOOOOOOOOOT!
Nobody has ever scored more Test match runs for England than Joe Root.
He is now the leading Test run scorer for his country - overtaking Sir Alastair Cook.
12,473 runs - and counting!

@HammerHousePod @LMMyles Great episode! I loved hearing how much you enjoyed the film, and great to hear a mention for Les Bowie and his effects team. Like you, I thought they did a top job.
