The NTEU Renewal campaign at Usyd is genuinely confusing. It's led by someone who openly told me in the past that he and members "don't care about Aboriginal issues" yet now they're sending their election material to me (NSW Div Aboriginal Rep) That's a strange strategy.

It’s with great sadness we advise our #Aboriginal community that the Elected Elder of Babana Aboriginal Mens group has passed away. The legendary @SSFCRABBITOHS life member will be missed by all of us!! Family and friends all of us at Babana will be there for you!!

I was shocked and amazed today that a NC rep from NSW would abstain on a #FirstNations motion on PostGrad issues - shows we have a long way to go to make change. Might as well voted against in my humble opinion #Shamejob

As a diehard @TheParraEels fan it was so great to present the award on First Nations mental health to the Goanna Academy for one of their projects - including Kennedy Cherrington who is not only a leader on the field but as a role model helping to change lives!!

God it’s no wonder YT often go crazy about welcomes when you have a LALC rep do one that includes “injecting disinfectant”, “eating cats and dogs” and ranting about “bin chickens” made me cringe. How is that in any way needed in a welcome? Promote our people and history instead
