Election Day is June 2, and I wanted to share who I’m supporting. These are leaders I trust to deliver real results for Sacramento and California. They share my commitment to safer neighborhoods, more housing, stronger local businesses, and accountable government. Every one of these races matters in shaping the future of our community.
Here’s a radical idea:
If a health insurance company denies care your doctor ordered, they should have to explain themselves.
Not in vague corporate language.
Not buried in paperwork.
Publicly, clearly, and with data.
As Insurance Commissioner, I’ll force that transparency. #wolffonyourside
NEW: California congressional candidate Mai Vang gets ripped over Memorial Day weekend for refusing to say the Pledge of Allegiance at ceremonies & public meetings — while also turning her back on the flag.
Steve Maviglio, a Democratic political consultant, called Vang’s actions “completely disrespectful to veterans and their families.”
He added, “It’s Patriotism 101.”

My path in life started as a student who believed education could change everything.
That belief is why I'm running for Superintendent of Public Instruction — and it's what my first campaign ad is all about.
The Superintendent of Public Instruction has long been an underutilized position. I'm running to bring tested leadership to build a cradle-to-career education system, tackle the youth mental health crisis, and defend our schools from Trump's dangerous agenda. https://t.co/1fxm62YN7E
Notable in this PPIC poll: @RendonAnthony is the only candidate with double-digit support among Dem voters (15%) — suggesting his ballot designation and message resonate most with Ds likely to turn out in the primary.
How we deal with screen time and technology in the classroom is one of the biggest challenges for future of education in California.
I'm running for Superintendent of Public Instruction to tackle these hard issues and work with educators, parents, and all stakeholders to ensure technology doesn't come at the expense of kids' learning. https://t.co/7Fk8wQWL5H
Getting results for working people, their kids, and their families is why I first got into public service, and it's why I'm running to lead California's schools. I'm grateful to @CaliforniaLabor for its support in my campaign for Superintendent of Public Instruction.
I’ve been on SNL twice now, which sounds impressive until I tell you neither time was as the host. At this point, Harry and Marcello have logged more rehearsal time as me than I have. Both of them were hilarious and absolutely nailed it. Maybe the third time I come in and do it myself.
Congressman @RobertGarcia is at the frontlines fighting the damage Donald Trump is inflicting on California schools every single day. I'm grateful for his support for my campaign to protect our schools and fight for our students.
