@333maheshwariii It's not universal. There are civil servants in my family and they married girl in teaching professions basically assistant professor or their girlfriend from college days. One of them is MBBS doctor. Another was working in mnc and recently resigned to pursue Phd.
Two days ago, I traveled to Jodhpur for work. But from the moment I got off the train, I felt uncomfortable. A group of men, probably between 18–28, kept staring at me not just a glance, but constant, unsettling staring.
Later, when I went out for dinner, it happened again. More men, the same kind of staring. I was wearing a full-sleeve shirt and loose pants nothing revealing but it didn’t matter. Their audacity made me feel exposed and vulnerable. I wanted to confront them, but I couldn’t. I froze, and I hated myself for not speaking up.
That whole day felt wasted. Instead of focusing on my work, I was just trying to get through the discomfort.
When I returned to Jaipur next day, it happened again. I was in an auto when a group of men in a Scorpio slowed down beside me. More staring. The number plate was from UP. This time, I felt real fear.
In that moment, I made a promise to myself if I ever have a daughter, I won’t let her grow up in India feeling unsafe like this. I will do everything in my power to protect her no matter what it takes.

@Misandrist2000 Feminism is reason you are on X and not cleaning home. Fight is not against patriarchy, it's against biology, patriarchy, brainwashed women, capitalism, pseudo feminists.
@livetime_fe Mostly middle class, upper middle class educated men are fine with conversation. Some are educating themselves but they are just 2-3 percent.
@Aureliaa____ Isn't this should be a choice? I mean if body hair were useless then through natural selection they would have become rudimentary. And then if they are that bad then men should wax them too.
@ready2luv_svt It's not heated to me. I'm just giving opinion calmly. In kpop there's general assumption that people are angry or triggered so they are saying something. I wrote it casually. Why would I be heated at you when I don't even know you and for someone who doesn't know me.
@ready2luv_svt And chill. It's just her opinion. I don't like Joshua being skinny these days but that doesn't mean I exclusively hate him or anything. It's choice.
@pookiegyu17 They teach their daughter to apply ubtan to look bright but never tell their son to do so. They want chaand si bahu for amavasya se raat son but if a dark daughter says she wants pale boy, shakal dekhi apni is the reply. Desi girls are victims
@ready2luv_svt Everyone has opinion. carats are best fandom is because they have opinion and express it freely. It's her opinion it didn't suit him and even Scoups will listen to opinion with open mind as well. You are equally right to disagree with it. Carat and seventeen are democratic
@JanusBlinked I love how they are downplaying the crime. If it's all about money then why the f*** did he grape her? This country is lost though, no strict punishment, he'll enjoy free food.
