you have the time to determine either of those outcomes before you die. may Allāh make our graves places of rest, āmīn.
Abu Hurairah narrated that:
The Messenger of Allah said: "When the deceased - or he said when one of you - is buried, two angels, black and blue-eyed come to him.
One of them is called Al-Munkar, and the other An-Nakir. They say:
if you get that random urge to read the Quran, seek forgiveness, give sadaqah, be kind to a stranger, help a loved one, pray sunnah rakaah, become a better muslim/do any type of good deed. just do it. Its a huge blessing. not everyone gets that opportunity.
You do not have unlimited time.
Your death will come on an ordinary day, in the middle of unfinished plans, and the world will continue on without you.
Allah did not create one path for all His servants.
One is raised through qiyāmul-layl. Another through fasting. Another through hidden charity (sadaqah). Another through serving parents. Another through teaching knowledge.

The power of du’a. Pray for every single step of your life. The prophets (peace be upon them), faced with their enemies and in a tight spot but they make du’a to Allah ﷻ , turned back to him. Please make du’a. Make du’a Wallahi there’s nothing that brings serenity to you more
Death is real and it comes without warning. No one knows when their time will come. May Allah make our final moments our best, and may we leave this world in a state He is pleased with.
People are dying every single day… Ya Allah, don’t take our souls until our Imaan is firm, our hearts are clean, and we stand forgiven in Your sight. Don’t let death reach us while we are heedless. Save us from a bad ending, and count us among those You are pleased with. Ameen.
It's not always about what you're doing, it's why you're doing it.
In Islam, your intention is everything.
You could be cooking dinner, running errands, working late... and still earning reward. Because when the intention is pure, the ordinary becomes sacred.
But it works both ways. Even your salah or fasting can feel empty if your heart's not in it.
So check in with yourself. Quietly. Sincerely. You don't need to prove anything to anyone, just make sure your "why" is right with Allah. That's where the real reward is.
The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
"Actions are judged by intentions."
