The Nigeria Super Eagles' impressive display against Algeria in the quarterfinals of the Africa Cup of Nations today demonstrated what it means for Nigeria to be the giant of Africa.
It is baffling to me why this team, the best in Africa will miss the World Cup.

In Nigeria today, CALCULATOR is probably the most frequently used word and device, especially after the @NGSuperEagles resounding win against Benin Republic in the World Cup qualifiers.

@ManUtd's return to the top ten of the Premier League table is a welcome relief. The team last achieved this feat at the end of the 2023/24 season, finishing 8th.
To build on this success, it's essential that the coach is willing to adapt tactics and formations.
In Abuja, Nigeria visiting H.E President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. We had a good discussion on the state of the economy and I shared with him that, whilst my perception is that the ongoing reforms are in the right direction and the economy is now stabilizing, there is a need to focus on building more social safety nets and growing the economy. I explained that Nigerians are experiencing hardship from the reforms and putting in place more programs to help people especially poor and vulnerable people manage the hardship is very important. At the same time it is necessary to start work on growing the economy to create more jobs and put money in peopleโs pockets. That is why programs like the @WTO-@ITCnews WEIDE Fund that empowers women to trade digitally are critical. Click on the link and listen to the video.

@Banyana_Banyana It was a good game, and the South African ladies showed why they were the defending champions. It's a good development for African football. Now, Nigeria for the trophy.
