@ChelistaDAmelin Poland is regressive as a country but because they are a part of the EU they're required by law to give LGBT people general equal rights and protections.
This now includes recognition of same-sex marriages performed in the EU.
@scoobyonthetwit@PaIIahAbdul Again, it is his right to be private. I just donโt think we should romanticize that kind of silence when, historically, that silence has often been about pressure and risk for queer people.

It's his right to not come out but staying in the closet out of necessity is something we ought to move away from not praise.
