Open Letter
To the President of the Russian Federation
From the President of Ukraine
When you came to power in Russia more than 26 years ago, many people in Ukraine viewed you positively. That is how it was. But that is now in the past.
Now, the overwhelming majority of Ukrainians view it positively that our long-range drones paid a visit to the opening of your forum in St. Petersburg, covering a distance of more than 1,000 kilometers. As you know very well, that distance is not the limit of our capabilities.
@gabriberton Thanks for sharing!
Quick question for the CV experts here:
DA in medical imaging is still unsolved and limits clinical deployment. A model trained on sequence A struggles on sequence B, while for humans the difference is trivial.
Any ideas or lessons from the broader CV world?
The Physical Turing Test: your house is a complete mess after a Sunday hackathon. On Monday night, you come home to an immaculate living room and a candlelight dinner. And you couldn't tell whether a human or a machine had been there. Deceptively simple, insanely hard.
It is the next North Star of AI. The dream that keeps me awake 12 am at the lab. The vision for the next computing platform that automates chunks of atoms instead of chunks of bits.
Thanks Sequoia for hosting me at AI Ascent! Below is my full talk on the first principles to solve general-purpose robotics: how we think about the data strategy and scaling laws. I assure you it will be 17 minutes you don't regret!

Microsoft Research introduce BiomedParse, a biomedical foundation model for imaging parsing that can jointly conduct segmentation, detection, and recognition for 82 object types across 9 imaging modalities.
A contest is held between the FBI, MI5, & KGB to see who can find a cat fastest. The FBI agent returns with the cat in 4hrs. The MI5 agent in 3hrs. The KGB agent returns in 24hrs, but with a dog. "What happened," they ask, "and why a dog?" The dog shouts, "I'M A CAT! I'M A CAT!"
@Epicier_du_coin J'ai le même dégoût que vous face à ces sombres passions. J'espère que c'est l'algorithme de X qui augmente faussement la proprotion de réactions animales.
